Hacking o3ds not booting, blue light turning on then off right away, blank sd card

hi guys, so i have a little bit of a dilemma.

i installed cfw a while ago (i think maybe a9lh), probably on version 9 or something. then, being the dumbass that i am, i updated to the current firmware recently. my 3ds didn't turn on fully, just showed an error message, and said to press any button to continue. then, to continue my dumbassery, i decided the only logical solution was to, of course, just delete all the files off my sd card and start over with a blank one. much to my dismay, now when pressing (and holding) the power button, the display does not turn on, and the blue light flashes on and off again. i've tried taking out the battery and taking out the sd card, but the same thing happens with the sd card out and nothing at all happens with the battery out (obviously). any suggestions for what to do?

the sd card apparently is write protected, even when i have it in the unlocked position, so i might have to just buy a new sd card

It is possible for SD cards to be stuck in Read-Only mode even when the slide switch is not set to the LOCK position.

1. Insert the SD card into computer.
2. Either Safely Remove Hardware or Eject Media from the bottom right corner task icon or Desktop → SD card drive → <right click> → Eject.
3. Reinsert the card into the computer.

If the card is still in read-only mode, and you're using a SD-to-USB adapter, see if the adapter is at fault by using another (not micro) SD card. Try a different computer with built-in SD slot reader.

Another thing you can try,

1. Copy everything off the SD card.
2. Try to revive it with SD Memory Card Formatter.
3. Attempt adding a small file or two.
4. If files can be added, continue with quadruple reformat with the other three (3) programs.
5. Check the hardware condition of the empty card with H2testw.

If the card's definitely borked, check my signature for replacement options.

Similar thing happened, I was installing luma3ds and right after the japanese flipnote part my 3ds turned off, and I was expecting it to turn back on but it ended up being bricked like yours. And the weird thing is that even if I put in my brother's 2ds sd card into my 3ds, it still stays in the same condition. Stupid as I am I also deleted everything on my sd but what was on it before I hacked it and ofc it still doesn't turn on. I tried holding select and start, and the method with L+R+A+Up and that also didn't work. If anyone has a solution please reply.

Get a new SD card and put boot.firm from Luma 10.0 on it. Add boot.3dsx and then follow https://3ds.guide/finalizing-setup so that your console will boot without an SD card (in case this happens again).
