Will there be much of a write up when you guys are done? For example how you tackled it etc? Always good to read your approach and what got working first etc

it was the original release date announced for Atmosphere

Oh, okay. Makes sense in some way :D

I have just one (perhaps) stupid question:
Does this open source emuNAND "method" somehow impact the release for ReiNX? Or is there no colaboration whatsoever? Unfortunately I don't really know who works together with whom, or shares their work or don't like each other, so please excuse me if this question is too uninformed!

budtoka420 reported for trolling - obvious attempt at trying to shit stir with the clowns reference.

As for people paying for SX OS - it's been their choice to pay for convenience and features which freeware CFW has yet to implement nearly a year later (though it is odd imo that those features that were loudly declared as unneeded and/or useless by some extremely vocal users on gbatemp, are now hotly anticipated by freeware CFW users (namely emuNAND and USB support).

As for Akira's comment on hating themselves for spending money on somethign available for free? It's still not available and I've been using emuNAND for some 8 months or so (not to mention USB HDD support and XCI loading). Do I regret spending a cent of it? No way. You think people spending money on SX OS are kicking themselves for 'lost'' dollars? I think the opposite.

This looks incredible, have you been able to go online with your emuMMC yet? What protection do you have so far for bans? (Blank prod info?)

Wouldn't he have to be on "official" 8.0.1 (with burned fuses) to go online safely, which wouldn't make it possible for him to be on 1.0.0 (because of the burned fuses)?

Or am I misunderstanding something here?

This is just like the 3DS Scene when .3ds and Gateway was considered to be the best. People who call the open source community clown will indeed be the bigger clown once the free alternatives are fully matured. Just a bunch of angry people who actually hates themselves because they purchased something that can be acquired for free(they are just in denial stage right now :rofl2:)

Like paying $20 is breaking the bank. Not taking any sides but where is the free XCI feature? HDD support?

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
