Thier's isnt but the users is

That's why my customers buy TX SX OS - To go online without being banned is #1 reason - Very few care about XCI or USB over here

In general people use it to prevent ban from online service, that how emunand has always been.

While that does fall along the lines of "bad results," I appreciate the clarification. That makes more sense, and would be a lot more work to get around. It sounds like, if you wanted to spoof which Switch is connecting to Nintendo's servers, that it'd be better to "simply" (not actually simple...) create some homebrew software that hijacks the "handshake" and sends back the alternate data.

How about if I use it (when it comes out) to keep my sysnand <=7.0.1/emunand on latest firmware offline while I wait for the warmboot exploit to release? Would that work?

Nope, emunand is for warm boot. Keep the sysnand as low as possible for warm boot

All my customers use it for dual boot and not get banned

    0 bans so far

Best setup is 8.01 sys and 8.01 emu at the moment

That is amazing but correct me if I'm wrong, since your sysnand is on 1.0 (I'm assuming you haven't burnt any fuses and don't have anything crazy like an internal hardmod installed), you can't play online, and emunand of course requires a CFW, so you still can't play online in emunand (at least not without risking a ban).

If you can't play online with your sysnand anyway, what good does emunand do for the average user?

    SysNAND remains on 1.0.
EmuNAND 1 is created and updated to the latest version for playing legit games
EmuNAND 2 is created with whichever version OP deems necessary for OP's pirate collection

EmuNAND 1 will have no record of installed games to EmuNAND 2. Keeping the SysNAND on 1.0 allows OP to use software methods of loading payloads, bypassing the need to manually enter RCM.

Chances of a ban from CFW alone are almost zero, also I'm guessing you can still use "stock" in hekate with it

Yup, it's a clean 8.0.1 (apart from fake news being installed)

Do you really need 2xemunand? Cant you update sysnand to the latest and then restore the nand backup when you feel the need to do so?

The point of keeping sysnand on 1.0.0 is to use the software method of loading payloads so you don't need a jig or autorcm.

Correct, emuMMC will support a minimal "stock" configuration.
