Hello GBATempers,

I'm a happy SXOS user on OFW 5.0.1 with no EmuNAND installed. I want to play some of the "newer" (at least for me) games on my Switch but I'm increasingly confused about what to do. I understand the use of ChoidujeurNX, but it is not clear to me if I necessarily need to install EmuNAND (I want to keep my setup a simple as possible). I never play online, so that is not needed for me and therefore my Switch is not banned.
I appreciate your recommendation about the route to follow in order to play FF-VII, Cuphead and Civilization on my Switch.

Thanks!

Well, Time to update again. I'm keeping my OFW in 6.2 without EMUNAND from my previous post. I checked this post: https://gbatemp.net/threads/switch-hacking-faq-updated.517252/
and SX OS supports OFW 9.0 but its not clear to me if it runs without EMUNAND. Any enlightment on this matter will be greatly appreciated.
I assume that the update via ChoicedujeurNX is still valid, right? Thank you all for the advice!!!

Works well without emunand.
Only update to 9.0.1 and NOT 9.1.0, since the latest is only a couple of days and not yet supported.

I did the upgrade to 9.0.1 as recommended and it works great! Thanks a lot for the advice.
