My GameCube controllers (2) aren't connecting in Smash. I tested Cuphead and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and they work flawlessly, but in Smash they won't even show up. Tried restarting the console and game, changing controller ports and USB ports, and reinstalling the 3.0.1 Smash update. Nothing seems to work.

Things to take in account:

1- They worked before (1.2.1 update) but now I installed the 3.0.1 update and they don't anymore.

2- The game is a cartridge, adapter and controllers are original, and as I said, work great on the menu and other games.

3- Running FW 8.0.1 and Atmosphere 0.8.9 with sweet patches. Maybe it's the Atmos version?

Thanks for any input!
Already "solved". I had the hid-mitm module on the SD card. When I deleted it, things went back to normal. Before this, I downgraded to Atmosphere 0.8.8 (no module) and worked, updated to AMS 0.8.9 (no module) and still worked, then put ldn_mitm and hid-mitm and didn't work. When I deleted hid-mitm, the controllers worked again.

Maybe the guys at Team AtlasNX would like to test this out. It was hid-mitm 0.1.1.

Does Atmos still work in the latest 8.1 system update? And what about Hb like tinfoil etc, can we still play our backups in the latest version?

I have a SX Pro on Firmware 7.0.1 and I'm trying to get Zelda VR working, but it keeps asking for an update?

Thanks

Update 1.6 load fine on 7.0.1 SX OS, I updated with via HBG Shop.

Ok Thanks Hayato213

So do I download the SX Installer ?
I used HBG shop for the update.

I've never used Tinfoil or Free Shop, but I assume you can use it with SX Pro.
So once I open the folder do I update Zelda from there?

It is a modified version of tinfoil, it has a game shop installer built in, but you need your own keys.txt as it asks for it, it should be able to pick up what you have installed and have the 1.6 update available for update. I never really used the SX Installer.

Hello guys, I don't know if this has been asked before but I am trying to update my firmware to 7.0 using ChoiDujourNX and after it updates (from 6.2) when I try playing a game it gives me an error "Unable to start software. Return to the Home Menu". Has anyone had this issue before?
Downgrading back to 6.2 fixes that error, though.

Place sigpatches for 7.0 on the root of your micro sd card.

@Draxzelex Its been awhile not asking any questions so I'm back lol. With the latest v3.0. software update for Super smash it requires System update to play the game and since now Atmosphere supports the firmware I'm woundering from where I can download the official offline v8.0 firmware files to update my switch with ChoidujourNX

Also what is RCM bug patched and how do I know if my switch is affected

Hi guys I would really appreciate some help. So I just updated to the latest atmosphere and then things got weird. So I'm used to just going to the "reboot to payload" so that I can take out my sd card freely without the switch turning off. Then I would just scroll using the volume button to "launch CFW". Now I can't even get to that screen so it seems like I constantly have to plug my switch in again to inject the payload with this new update? That's more inconvenient.

Also now when I launch Tinfoil a red screen warning comes up saying that I'm using Hektate/Kosmos and I can't see NSP files to install even though they are on my SD card. How do I work around these two issues?

Firmware files are copyrighted but Smash's v3.0 update can be run on firmware 7.0.1. I downloaded it from Nintendo's servers while I was on that firmware.

The console you are referring to are "ipatched" units. The current exploit, Fusee Gelee, relies on a bug in RCM which is built into the hardware of the Switch meaning they cannot fix it via a firmware update. Instead, they ship units where they apply ipatches at the factory to the bootrom where the console is loaded which patches out Fusee Gelee. Unless you are buying a recent-ish console or sent it to Nintendo for repairs, it is impossible for you to have one as just explained, the exploit is hardware-dependent not software-dependent meaning no firmware update will ever patch out Fusee Gelee for currently exploitable consoles.

If you are using the latest version of Kosmos, they set it so Hekate autoboot CFW. If you want to enter the Hekate menu instead of autobooting, hold volume +

I did that and I thought it was working but then it said that the recovery menu was missing? And then proceeded to boot. Thank you for helping btw
