Hello and merry xmas!

After a few hours remaking it, here is the game T-REKT NX.

It is a remake of my game T-Rekt 3D for 3DS with some improvements made for my tutorial's template.

If you want to practice C++, just check the source code.

Tested on ReiNX 2.0 + 6.2 Sysnand but it should work on any firmware if you have access to HBL.

How to play:

You have to save the dinos. How? Just avoid the meteorites that fall to the earth! :ha:

Dinosaurs will grow up if you let them survive. When doing so, if you have boys and girls, they will procreate having more dinosaurs. :shy:
They will die by being old, so they won't be invincible anyway.

Beware because every dino has different stats. They can grow up earlier, run faster or even procreate faster than others (Everything is set randomly).


- Left Joystick / D-Pad (Right/Left) for moving the dinos.
- Tap on buttons or press A to go through screens when needed.
- Minus button to pause the game
- Plus button to exit if you are in the titlescreen and go to titlescreen if you are ingame

Debug Controls (Debugging stuff):

- R for changing debug-mode

What does it have:

- Custom Splash Screen, cinematic intro screen, titlescreen and gamescreen
- Sound: Music and SFX
- Data saved in sdmc/switch/Manurocker95/T-RektNX/data.sav with JSON
- Resources loaded from RomFS.
- Custom fonts and stuff
- Images animated by frames made with SDL2
- Some bugs (need to re-make collisions)
- Multilanguage: If your system language is not found in RomFS files, English is set by default. Needed texts are parsed from JSON.

- Fix bugs
- better age-levels
- Some text with dialogs

Also @Manurocker95 I'm following your work. Thank you very much for your Visual Studio tutorial. I will definitely try it out. Already installed the newest community edition with C++ stuff. :)

Pretty cool. I'm about to use your tutorial to finally port Blobby Volley 2 to the Switch and I might need help at some point because who knows. :D

Else I'm not sure why people keep greetings joel16b, ernardo giordano and Cheeze for the sdl2 port, it's all mine :)
I credited them for references, not the port of the libraries. Then you are in general (I can put you explicitly if it’s that what bothers you ^^)
