I know, I choose to use the Icons for convenience. It's just quicker to tap one of the Icons rather than having to hold the Power button down for 4 seconds, select "Power Options", then select "Restart" or "Turn Off".And it's less wear and tear on my Power Button.

Thanks for the heads up though. B-)
I like NSPs because I can reboot while in docked mode.

Game: South Park Rally
Using the most recent build from m4xw

It seems like the view/render distance is a bit messy in this game.

I can only see things that are directly in front of me.
With what settings could I play around to fix that?

You can also use Nro2NSp to create a RetroArch NSP that forwards to the "retroarch_switch.nro".

Works great for me, I'm getting 60 FPS @ 714 MHz in LoZ - OOT using the mupen64plus_next core that m4xw posted. Not that was not a typo, 60 FPS using Powersaving Mode 3 (714 MHz)! :)

There is no way to run OOT @ 60fps. The game is locked to 17fps(PAL) and 20fps(NTSC). Im not sure is the gamecube OOT rom hit's 30fps but im sure it won't hit 60fps.
I was looking around to see if someone made a 60fps patch for OOT but nope noone has managed to do it yet.

So if you see 60fps in the framecounter then please ignore it, it obviously does not count the frames of the actual game

This is the case with almost all emulators. It displays the emulation refresh rate so show the performance of the emulation itself. It would be extremely confusing if it displayed the framerate of the game itself.

Yes you're right about that, however, for comparison I wanted to list what FPS I was showing while playing the game using mupen64plus-next, since that's the same FPS counter that others will be seeing. If I would have said "Works great for me, I'm getting 20 FPS @ 714 MHz..." it just wouldn't make sense to most people. :D

Thanks for the heads up though. B-)

Just a heads up for you though, there are actually hacks that exist if you're playing OOT or MM using Dolphin. I've seen them before but I've never tried them as it's not really that big of a deal to me.

Scroll down to FPS Hacks.

I can share mine if you really want it but it sounds to me like your issue is something else. What are you using to install the NSP? Have you tried using Goldleaf?
I tried goldleaf which crashes while install and tinfoil / lithium which does nothing.

I don't know what I did wrong. I made it look the same as in your Screenshot

Which version of Goldleaf are you using, and which version of Nro2Nsp are you using?

You might want to try using THIS version of Nro2Nsp that the developer posted up in his release thread. I had some issues when trying some of the versions that were posted on his GitHub page.

Are you trying to create a RetroArch NSP or the Shutdown and Restart NSP that I posted? I uploaded my Shutdown and Restart NSP's for someone else back on page 62 in THIS POST. You could try those if you want because I know they work for sure. If it's RetroArch that you're trying to make then I can send you mine as well if you can't get it figured out.

Here's the retroarch nsp i grabbed at the start of this year and has always worked for me

https://files.fm/u/3p8r3a35

If you're paranoid about random nsps verify it first

Obviously it isn't supported by retroarch devs anymore so ymmv

This won't work with newer builds. And the original RA NSP is not the same as using Nro2Nsp which creates an NSP "Shortcut" that points to the "retroarch_switch.nro", whereas the official RA NSP doesn't have an NRO. I would definitely steer clear of that original NSP.

Tried with the beta 4 of the latest Nro2Nsp from github and the last official goldleaf.

Would be awesome if you could share your Retroarch nsp

That's your problem right there, that beta 4 on GitHub has issues. Use the one the developer posted HERE If you still can't get it to work then I will post mine up.

No offense bro but I've seen all the issues you've been having, I don't consider that being "fine". :D

But yeah, using that original RA NSP might work, but once again, it's NOT the same as using the Nro2Nsp for forwarding. With Nro2Nsp, you get to use the CURRENT and OFFICIALLY SUPPORTED retroarch_switch.nro file, rather than the OUTDATED and UNSUPPORTED retroarch.nsp.

I'd always used atmosphere until hekate had the exclusive svc patches, but now that atmosphere has them it's fine

*atmosphere with 4-Ns sigpatches
You can use both, i got it all working with both.
I think the new Hekate has svc & jit patches.

Ok I stopped using the core that m4xw tweeted and used the one that came with the nightly and it works again

edit

Ok seems the nightly isnt using the svc patch, went back to the tweeted core and it works fine again, this is driving me crazy

edit

and now it doesn't. I've tried newest build, updated svc core, original svc core, retroarch build from 14/1 that I was using up until a few days ago, HBmenu nsp, title redirection through pkmn quest.... sometimes it works then randomly starts erroring, other times it doesnt work at all the first time I try after replacing files... is there anything else I can do?
when you start mixing old files with new ones your going to have issues

if only retroarch didn't consist of a million tiny files that take an hour to transfer every time + having to remember what folders to not delete...

anyone know how to remove the endless shadow in pilot wings 64?
