Yeah, it took two days to update atmosphere for 7.0, and then three weeks to do sept. Day 2 is more accurate.

No they violate the DMCA. It's illegal to distribute them or tell anyone how to patch the signature check out in any way.



Just existing makes you liable to having a lawsuit raised against you, it's up to the Judge to decide on the merits. It's a major pain & a decent lawyer could argue a conspiracy case.

It violates the DMCA because it bypasses the signature check, that is the purpose of the DMCA.

You're making the rookie mistake of assuming that if you break a law then you'll be sued. There is plenty of evidence to disprove that.



How is me telling you the truth about DMCA throwing anyone under the bus? TX obviously don't care about the DMCA, they have to take the consequences of their actions (although at the moment it seems Nintendo don't seem too interested about suing them either).

Whether I or you care about violating the DMCA is irrelevant, I find it weird though that people lie about it to make themselves feel better that it's somehow legal.

Go read the DMCA, I'm not going to educate you on something that seems to be over your head. Bypassing signature checks is certainly going to get you in trouble if it allows anti circumvention of copyright controls.



It would be easy in court to show that you go to the same web site to get atmosphere and the patches. Similar to how some countries allow hydroponics and cannabis seeds to be sold, but you're not allowed to sell both. Don't forget it's what a judge thinks is probable, he doesn't need it proved beyond reasonable doubt as it's not a criminal case.

long story short, TX highjacks the gamecard slot with FS_mitm and then allow xci's to be loaded by using nintendo copyrighted code, this is what is stopping atmo and reinx.

I'm surprised that someone anonymously released a KIP to allow XCI loading on the other CFWs.. or to allow USB loading.
