Nope, completly unrelated (perhaps will help with JIT calls?). But it will make WiiU homebrew developement way more friendly and less messy. So this would make improving and porting over dynarec a reality?

And I'm guessing this will help Homebrew in general?
But Gamecube and Wii games run natively in Wii U's vWii mode. Running USB Loader GX from the Wii U mode doesn't make any sense.they need to move usb loader gx to Wii U instead of wii or vwii for Gamecubes and Wii
Care to show to proof or you just bluffing so you coud have us shut up?What do you mean? Switch homebrew has nothing to do with the current WiiU homebrew status, heck even the same developers from 3 years ago are STILL developing for the WiiU (except dimok, fix and alias). The thing which is stopping developers to develop WiiU homebrew is because the current WiiU toolchains aren't any good, these are broken or uncompleted, even the hb launcher is broken at the time being. Currently WiiU homebrew developers are focusing on improving WUT toolchain with cool stuff such SDL2, and, from what I can see, they are working on hw accelerated gfx for WiiU homebrew,. Even with the current broken toolchain, RA WiiU IS STILL being improved (see the P2P netplay fix? see the new ozone menu driver? see the menu widgets?). Sorry bud, but you're talking nonsence from a very negative view of point.
Wii U game discs are Blu-Ray?Better Toolchain = More Stable and efficient Executables and overall better Productivity that is Legal atleast because not everyone has a DevKit and using Official SDK well you cant Legally release anything , which is why overall we got to thankful for any Homebrew at all.
That said the current Wii Emulators could do with ports to the Wii U to utilize the extra RAM CPU Capabilities and GX2 Now we're Talking but again there is peeps that is working on things we dont know about.
Yes the Wii U is capable of a lot PSP was a surprise now we just need Sega DC SS 32X N64 Perfected Blu Ray Movie Playback Hadron Collider U and a Big Cigar to go with our Latte
Wii U game discs are Blu-Ray?

Oh... but i would like to see a dedicated video player at the very least or maybe an app like Movian on the PlayStation 3.In a sense, they have the same storage capacity.

For real! It's been LONG overdue!Wonder where is Jaguar core for Wii U and i have one for Wii. There is lot miss out on Wii U. Also Switch does have Jaguar core plays with overclock not 100% all games but close enough. I wonder who the creator of PPSSPP for Wii U and is that person still working on it or done with it? also PSX bettle or PSX rearmed core need to catch up to 1.7.6 not 1.6.8 or under because when i use bettle psx it messed up with my configs with other cores and playlist all scrambled up all over the screen looked like u seeing it in note++. Im all set Hoping someone takes over and updates all cores. Love the retro handleheld, consoles and the Arcade I may b addicted to it like my drugs!
More stable than Nintendo's 3DS updates. I'm glad you posted since I already know things are being worked on in the background. Don't lose hope @the_randomizer !Hi! I'm a homebrew dev, and right now there's one thing on my mind:
Any of you familiar with how the Switch scene works should see the significance here. As others have mentioned, the focus is really on the backend right now, trying to get ducks in a row for wut to really shine. Right now it struggles with bugs in HBL, CFWs that don't really help homebrew and are difficult to update, and a weirdly large number of developers not knowing it even exists.
As others have mentioned, rw and I have been working through SDL2; which led to a few backports early on (incidentally, the appstore now fully supports the Wii U and downloads from its homebrew database rather than the Switch one. It's waiting on a few SDL2 bugs to be worked out) and yeah, it opens up a lot of possibility for different apps to be built. There's rumors of some really ambitious projects being taken on by a few people - I won't oust them before they're ready, but suffice to say there's a lot of backend work that needs to be done.
Don't forget, there's finally a stable 5.5.2/3 webexploit! so things are happening.
