I installed the Aroma Retroarch on my Wii U recently but starting to get a 160-2203 error everytime I try to boot it up. I am not sure if it is core related--it started happening after I tried to boot Mame. I reinstalled all of Retroarch and still getting crashes. This seems to only happen to this software: everything on my USB and nand boot fine.

I was playing a lot of PS1 on the Retroarch and wondered if I should just try WiiStation instead. Is WiiStation the better route for PS1 on Wii U? I don't want to entirely give up on Retroarch--I also played quite a bit of TurboDuo--but if it keeps crashing I wonder if I need to go another route...

Personally I've always preferred WiiSXRX (after initializing Wii U overclock) installed as a Wii U channel with optional Gamepad compatability despite being a vWii homebrew.

Retroarch all the way now especially if you use a Wii U. As of now, nearly every PS1 game runs as smoothly as it did on console due to the guys working on it. A lot of consoles that the Wii has emulators for are all accessible in Retroarch with better performance.
