Giving botw another go. Obtained 2 nsps for UPD 1.5 and DLC and installed to SD card with SX OS installer (the regular installer in the album). I'm using the actual game cart and still have the 1.5 update installed in system storage from before I added CFW.

DLC is not showing up- do I need to delete the legit update from system storage so the system recognizes the UPD nsp I installed with the DLC nsp (i.e. do these 2 nsps work together?)

Or do I need to grab an XCI/NSP of the game itself? This my first time even trying a cart while running CFW..

Are you using emunand? make sure you install to that

updates and DLC should be applied no matter what format you run the game in

No disrespect but if you don't know the CFW why reply to my issue?

I have it, I haven't used it much compared to reinx and atmosphere though.

I won't pretend to understand how SXOS rom menu does things, but if they doesn't work try reinstalling the updates through goldleaf or tinfoil

I'll give tinfoil a try- thanks!

Hi, I want to install a cfw to my nintendo switch but I'm aware of a possible ban, I have Super Smash Bros Ultimate original cartridge and is the only game that I want to play online at the moment, so my question is if I can play it(SSB) online with a cfw since I have the original cartridge? or the ban can happen at any time by only having the switch with a cfw?

Sorry for my english :P

Follow this guide to remove the update nag, assuming you're talking about a system update. It's also recommend that you do something to block updates from automatically downloading, like disconnecting from the internet or using a DNS.

If you're talking about the requirement for a game update, you need to either install the update (using the internet or installing the NSP) or use DevMenu to reset the game version requirement.
I was talking about the system update, sorry for the misunderstanding! And thank you for the reply!

Nintendo doesn't ban people for pirating. They ban people who hack their consoles which has a higher chance of happening when it involves piracy. Also Nintendo doesn't care if you own the game. For .XCI files in particular, they have no way of verifying you bought the game or not so if they have the slightest inkling your console is hacked, you will be banned faster than you can blink.

I've been out of the switch scene for a while, but it's the "jig" to access RCM still needed? Do you think we'll be able to hack our switch in a simple way as 3ds?

The 3DS didn't get B9S until 6 years after the device was released but in only over a year did the Switch get a near identical exploit in terms of power meaning there is not much incentive to find other exploits except for patched units which do have a confirmed but firmware-limiting exploit in the name of Deja Vu. There is a theoretical coldboot exploit for firmwares 3.0.1 and below but that pales in comparison to the current exploit which is firmware-agnostic (since it is a hardware exploit so it works on all firmwares as long the hardware is vulnerable) so the number of people who would find it useful let alone utilize it are insignificant. That is not to say that people will quit looking for exploits but for the time being, Fusee Gelee is going to be the main stay of the Switch for several years which should be taken in a positive light.
