In a press release today, THQ Nordic announced that all hell will break loose on the Nintendo Switch come April. Indeed, Darksiders Warmastered Edition, the enhanced version of the first title in the Darksiders series, is coming to the Nintendo console. A new trailer was released for the announcement:

Deceived by the forces of evil into prematurely bringing about the end of the world, War – the first Horseman of the Apocalypse – stands accused of breaking the sacred law by inciting a war between Heaven and Hell. In the slaughter that ensued, the demonic forces defeated the heavenly hosts and laid claim to the Earth.

While the game is already available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, it will launch on the Nintendo Switch this April 2nd priced at £25.99 / €29.99 / $ 29.99, both digitally and in retail stores.

I bet if it is popular then they would gladly port 2nd game. However, I doubt for 3rd -- Maybe for Nintendo Switch 2.

Eh, neither of the sequels is a lot more graphically demanding than the first game. They could've easily released all three as a package, or 1+2 in a pack together and 3 separate.

This is a remaster, it was released for all the current-gen systems not that long ago. People really need to learn what a port is, because 99% of the time this comment pops up it's about a remaster that PS4/XB1 also receive.

What's wrong with ports? Don't you like having good games portable? I'm all in for playing Darksiders while taking a dump.
