Nice!

Where exactly did you find the info?

I had read from https://github.com/dborth/snes9xgx/releases that the 4.3.8 version is: Compiled with latest libOGC/devkitPPC. Does it mean that it has the GamePad support?
https://github.com/dborth/snes9xgx/commit/c5eed33de0df0ff9ec9c5ca5878b2fe87605ade9
Above means that it has support, but I think it still needs to launch the compiled version, since the code was inserted after the last released version, but we will wait without problems

COOL! Any chance you could make a WUP installer out of this? :)

Count on that ;)

But it will be once Dborth stops releasing new versions...i.e to make a "final stable one". I don't want to be building various WUP ones :P

I will do it for all the GX emulators :)

If you guys think that I can complete the collection with another emulator o another feature, please let me know.

Nice! Could you maybe upload the snes9x pictures you used for building the WUP? The ones for the icon and the TV screen. I would like to try building my own version with wiivc inject and really like the icons you used :)

Ok i give up. Any chance you might upload a compiled version of 4.4.0? Can’t get it done myself even after googling a lot

Edit: I always get this error message:

Code:
/Users/name/Downloads/snes9xgx-master/source/snes9x/snes9x.h:192:10: fatal error: zlib.h: No such file or directory
 #include <zlib.h>
          ^~~~~~~~
compilation terminated.
make[2]: *** [audio.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [build_wii] Error 2
make: *** [wii] Error 2

I installed Devkitpro and hit "export
DEVKITPPC=/opt/devkitpro/devkitPPC" still no idea how to correctly execute that makefile.. not working on windows and OSX

Man, you're the best. I was searching for all internet, could you please, share the pictures for VBA, FCE and N64 too?

Here you have them altogether!

(By the way, all of them are put in the link of MEGA that I uploaded last week though)

4.4.0 is not ready yet... You can still use my 4.3.2, it works perfectly with the GamePad (located in the link I mentioned before https://mega.nz/#!3oIx0ISJ!rGuDD7z8hPp4HuCOP216sINfbB-He11_C7WQYSJ4UQI )

Hope it helps!

Hey man, awesome work on these, recently modded my Wii u and was glad I found this thread, as I much prefer these GX emulators over retroarch.
I just tried sign c2w patcher on them to see if there would be any performance boost, but aside from n64, all the other emulators crash the Wii u. Is that due to how these forwarders/channels work or is sign c2w patcher not really work with anything other than n64 rice?

Hello Immortallix!

Glad to here that the thread was useful for you ;)

About the c2w patcher, I don't really get what you mean regarding the performance boost... What I can tell you is that all the forwarders that have to be installad in the WiiU that redirects to the GX emulators need the SignPatcher to be opened, but as far as I know, it doesn't have anything to with any performance improvement. And the best way that I found to run this, is via Coldboot, that "signs" the WiiU everytime it boots.

Is that what you mean?

Best

Thanks for the response.
I already use coldboot/CBHC, so i have no issues there, but I saw on some YouTube vids that the Wii u Homebrew application "sign_c2w_patcher.elf" is used to overclock the vWii CPU speed, which enables better performance on Wii64 Rice as well as the ps1 emulator, WiiSXR, which I've done successfully. Sorry I wasn't clear about that.

My thinking was that doing this for the rest of the GX emulators would improve performance. For example, turning on the hq2x filter in SNES9XGX decreases the framerate, so I thought c2w could have it running at full fps, but running c2w before launching the rest of the GX emulators just crashes vWii.

I was just curious if you had any experience with this as i haven't been able to find much information on it being used with other vWii Homebrew.

Sorry, I actually didn't know about that... The thing is that I hadn't experienced any framerate drop in the GX emulators, so I didn't do any research about that.

Awesome work but really... it's too much effort for a library that I wouldn't be able to play in a lifetime anyways lol
I'm happy with one hdd for wiiu/wii, forwarders for nintendont/wiisxr/retroarch, some n64 VC inject... and one sd card for gc and retroarch roms.
In my experience some time ago snesgx had a lot of noticeable framedrops on a few games that I tried (DKC2 comes to mind) retroarch is definitely the way to go.
