dumb question but I haven't found an answer yet: I own 3 physical games for switch and I backed up my nand before using cfw. I read that my save files of the physical games are stored in my console rather than in the cartridges, so when I restore my nand in the future, would I lose all my progress on the physical games I made after backing up my nand?

yup

Your SD card was most likely formatted....

Thanks for the quick reply,
some additional information (before I do something) - I have formatted the SD and wrote the image again (I did have a backup for this) I can run homebrew and tinfoil, and install the nsp games both to the Nand and the SD card. however when I try to run them - I get this error message. so essentially I can access and run stuff from the SD but sort of blocked from running nsp, if that's possible.
would the steps you suggested solve this?

do you install games to sd card or nand? are there some big differences/advantages?

I normally use sdcard. NAND is slightly faster, but will fill up quickly.

Hi, my Switch is running SX OS 2.0.1 (with EmuNAND enabled and Auto RCM Enabled/Installed) and OFW is 4.1.0.
I had got error message 2144-0001 while playing games and it took me out of the SX OS. Now even though auto RCM is enabled, I still have to use the pin/tin foil to put it into RCM mode and inject the payload. I have read that when auto RCM is enabled, the Switch goes into RCM automatically without using jig. I have also verified that my serial is XAW100798XX which is not listed into the patched RCM Switch list.
Can someone please explain why it's doing it?

If autorcm is truly enabled you will not need the jig. Maybe it got screwed up by the crash somehow? Maybe try re-enabling it with sxos (or disable/re-enable it).

Or you could use ChoidujourNX to enable autorcm, however it may work slightly differently to sxos and "possibly" cause an issue.

Maybe try posting on TeamExecuter forum as well

Hey Guys im Sorry but i cant find a solution and need Help.
I think i bricked my switch. I was on FW 5.1 (without BackUp i Know it was stupid) and wanted to update offline to 6.0. I use ReiNX and ChoiDujourNX and load the update Data, the update was succesful and he wanted to reboot. After that i have only a black Screen. Its in RCM mode and when i start i can use the payload. After that, ReiNX is loading but i only have a black screen.
I wanted to update for a game. Please help me, my parents gonna kill me...

Hey guys. I'm using SX pro 2.0.1 and I'm on 4.1.0
I'm trying to add support for ExFat using ChoiDujourNX - https://gbatemp.net/threads/choiduj...ller-homebrew-for-the-nintendo-switch.513416/
In there it says to "Extract the UPDATE partition from an XCI image" how do I do that?
I already found Kirby Star Allies in .xci format and put it in microsd:/firmware folder but it shows up as 0 meta NCAs.
Use Hactool to extract the Update Partition and in order to use Hactool, you need keys which can be obtained via a tool such as kezplez-nx. The alternative is to download the firmware update using xbins' FTP server. Further instructions for that can be found on their site.

What I would first try doing is reformatting the entire SD card. Back it up before you format it. If that still doesn't work, try using another set of SD files such as tomGER's SD Files.

Thank you very much Draxzelex i will try.
I have hekate v4.0 and a option to restore. There i have two options:
Restore eMMC Boot 0/1 OR Restore eMMC RAW GPP (exfat only).

Can i use something of that or is it better to try your first version?

Thank you again for the help!

Try what I suggested and if it doesn't work, restore both eMMC boot0/boot1 and eMMC raw GPP.

Don't know if this is a known bug/occurrence but I was just playing my switch. I am using sx os 2.1 on 6.1fw. Anyway, I installed a game via tinfoil and I noticed that it now said 'license not found' in the 'license' tab in the album. I exited and all my games were working. When I went back into the album it now said 'License Valid'. Anyone else had this happen to them? It didn't affect anything but I'm slightly worried if it happens again...

EDIT: It seems to happen when you exit tinfoil after installing a game. Then if you leave the album and return it then says 'License valid'. Weird.

Edit 2: Tried it on another switch with sx os pro and this doesn't happen - it always says 'License Valid' even coming out of tinfoil. Hmm. I'm using the same dongle on each switch, I wonder if that is causing it? God knows how though. And the second switch is 5.1. Both on 2.1 sxos.

I got most of tinfoil setup done, but i dont understand how to fix that json titles problem, does anyone have a hint?

You saved my ass THANK YOU really. I had to format the sd card, now it´s back to normal.
Is it because the sd card was corrupted. Should i try again now or ist there an another option to update?

Once again, you saved my day. Thanks.

exFAT has been widely known to corrupt and since we can bypass the need for >4 GB files with features such as network or USB installation, there isn't much of a need for exFAT. But exFAT should have been applied with ChoiDujourNX. Maybe try reinstalling the firmware with exFAT support.

AutoRCM was installed. This is done to prevent you from burning a fuse when you are running a firmware higher than your fuse count.

Nevermind, the fuse burn is correct with 6 fuses burnt on 5.0.1 exfat, so its okay, like i said, i know i already asked it, but decided to check it again by myself cause it really really bugged me.
