Guys, while I'll continue working on it, I will stop releasing dOPUS. I've learn a lot while writing it, and this project has been a blast until I released it. But I could never imagine I'd face negative comments and some toxicity for something I've done on my free time, for fun, without any intent to get any benefit out of it. And tbh I don't want to have to face rage and toxicity for something that's supposed to be pure fun to make.

Thanks for the work so far mate there are a few who appreciate what you were aiming for with this release. It's a shame it's ended up like this because of a small handful of toxic wastes of oxygen.

I understand in a way how Ad could feel a bit put out but a simple message with a "Hey i'd much prefer if you wanted to work together on this rather than going alone" would have saved a load of needless drama.

Come on man, you don't appear to have done a single thing wrong. You've done a spectacular job with this specific project, and I don't see any reason why you shouldn't continue alone, or in collaboration with @Adubbz to create a single fantastic piece of software. I've read and discussed nothing but good things about this application in private, you should definitely not take the word of a couple trolls as your reasoning for disbanding an entire project. Please reconsider!

I created an account just to say I appreciate the work OP has done here, and I wish he would continue to publicly release future updates. As others have already said, there's enough room for all three projects (tinfoil, dz, dOPUS) to coexist, at least in this nascent stage of Switch homebrew where there are prize giveaways to encourage more development.

If anything, this potentially frees Adubbz to work on non-GUI related improvements. Tinfoil is far and away the most popular way to install titles, and I doubt that will change anytime soon.

That's a real shame! I suppose all the haters will be happy now they have got to you and you have quit releasing the project and as far as they are concerned the initial backlash did it's job!
