HIGHLY doubt that especially since Nintendo are making every ban into a cert ban. Now there ARE rumors that some people have managed ot hack the cert and remove it's dummy protection, meaning that it would work on the consoles themselves but this is unverified

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

First of all i don't know if the last shared cert is the same as the supposed last one that is still working or not
Aren't these protection console unique, meaning that you would need to do it again for your console?

Where can I download the cracked cert

It's not cracked, it's donated from someone who has been banned from online or e-shop. And can't link it here nor actually link to the place where it's shared but it's on THAT discord server

Nope, that's what the dummy protection removal does, it lets you use a single cert on every console, removing the console unique aspect of it. Now i can't verify if this is true or not since i'm not on THAT particular server so this is all rumors at best

Yeah. There is only one place in the internet where people can share certs.

Uhhhhh...that's where the certs come from. If people share them elsewhere it's their problem but the original place where the public certs come from is that discord server

Every owner of ~20 000 000 hackable Switches can dump cert by running simple app and share it anywhere.

Except it's not every owner of the system who is going to know HOW to do that. Not to mention why would they? The public certs are from people who have either been banned from online gaming or from the e-shop itself. Other people have NO REASON to share their cert. And with Nintendo upgrading bans to be FULL BANS(As in CDN bans because they KNOW these minor banned certs are being used for CDNSP), public certs are going to run out FAST

That is not possible without emulating some other things.
A certain device ID is always linked to a cert. They have a copy of that cert in their servers. So this may result in a ban if you don't send the correct ID.
And even if the cert-device ID pair match, they will know that the cert isn't the same that they have on their side...

Like i said i haven no way to verify this information so it's all speculation at this point

We don't need everyone to do it. One who want to do it can do it, it is good enough.

And the people who do know already have shared their certs. Call it what you want but the fact is that with the ban upgrade, the current public cert might as well be the very last we are going to see. It's not going to last much longer unless people start sharing fully unbanned certs and no one is going to do that

What else smart people will not do?
Buy $60 games to upload them online?
Crack software and hardware for free?
Spent years to create free emulators?
Please enlighten us.

Say what you want but you can't argue with facts. There is a clear reason why that discord server is so reluctant to share this last cert. Because for all intents and purpose, this might as well BE the last cert

Pfft speak for yourself. I'm not banned and my cert I gave out is next in the list after the 'current' one of the hacking discord gets burned.

Also this last cert is the same as the one before it, just packed up so noobs like you can't get it as easily.

How do you know that?
Why the current cert even works if this is true?
Smells like another FUD.

They don't. Anyone that's in the discord with half a brain knows Ashura66 is full of it :D

And why would the cert be packed up hmmm? Oh it can't possibly be because of the fact that they KNOW THEY ARE RUNNING OUT and want to limit the number of people who have access to it(which honestly is retarded AF). There is no other reason why they would start packing the certs differently if the intent is to continue to share them. If a new cert appears after this current one(or ones) is(or are) banned then i will happily agree and admit that i was wrong, i have no problems doing that. Until such time, i'm going to go with the official announcement from the server Also i'm full of it? Right, because i don't look shit up before it talk, right

It's not as there were reports that people who had been previously online or e-shop banned had gotten a full CDN ban after a few days without doing anything that would warrant one(As in not using FreeShop or anything like that)

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol

I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol

So that version is semi rare
