CDNSP Public Cert Status: DEAD (It's OVER)

UPDATE: Also That Discord Server is GFG "Gone for Good".

Seems that same discord channel will be supplying WORKING certificates after all (With some passwords/hints/clues)

Seems the "With some passwords/hints/clues" thing has been revoked. As easy to get files posted normally as before

After 16 days run the Cert is DEAD ... No More until further notice by that same discord server

Public Cert is Shared by that discord server again. no effect on the CDN after Nintendo Network maintenance.

UPDATE 5 (26/09/2018):

Cert is DEAD

Every previous eShop ban has been elevated to full CDN ban (previously called "burned")
This means no updates at all anymore

Before people start posting about their own banning experience, please submit a ban report here (https://gbatemp.net/threads/nintendo-switch-banning-hub-warning.508710/) so the information can be cataloged and recorded rather than as a random post in a random thread that will get buried within a day.

On-topic now, much like the 3DS Freeshop, everyone's going to have to go looking for the .NSP files to download via Google or those file sharing websites. On the bright side, BBB provided us a plethora of scene releases that should comprise of the entirety of the Nintendo Switch eShop.

What do you mean by publicly? Aren't those extracted from a game card and posted on Warez sites?

Not game carts, your console has a single client cert, so someone needs to be willing to share their cert and risk having there console CDN banned for the "public" to get a new one.

Ummmm they weren't talking about the cert...they were talking about firmware update files

I get that, but I was under the impression that even if you are CDN banned you could update your console offline via the Rajkosto homebrew app and the corresponding firmware update which you could extract from a xci.

What does that have to do with the update files needed for ChoiDujourNX? All it takes is for someone to legitimately obtain such files or extract them from a cart dump and then upload them to one or more of the usual warez sites.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.

@SylverReZ, atleast wiimmfii went fine although people only use it for Mario kart Wii
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
At least if they ban you for cheating, get another Wii. They're cheap as chips.

Remember when RiiShop was a thing?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
    not really
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Brb
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon
