TX Announces SX OS v1.5 with 'even more features'

TX is still busy working on the currently 'unhackable switch'es'

In the meantime they have recently produced yet another update to their SX OS v1.5, and as usual its packed with new features as you can see detailed below in their official 'changelog':

sx15.jpg

Another day, another small update with some convenient new functionality for SX OS!

Lets have a look at whats new:
  • Added mass NSP install (and optional delete) functionality
Users who want to install a lot of NSP titles at once can now easily do so by pressing [Y] in the installer tab. Upon finish the NSP installer will also ask you if you want to delete the NSP source files from your microSD card, freeing up space and keeping every neat and tidy!
  • FTP server support
You can now enable a FTP server from the options tab in our menu that will keep running even once the menu is closed. This FTP server gives direct access to your microSD card, so you no longer have to eject the card to store/retrieve files.
  • More content directories
Some people complained that they didn't like all the XCI/NSP/NRO files in the root of their SD card. We have to agree that becomes a bit messy, so the menu will now scan the following directories as well looking for game content:
    • /sxos/games
    • /sxos/xci
    • /sxos/nsp
    • /sxos
    • /switch/games
    • /switch/xci
    • /switch/nsp
    • /switch
We hope you enjoy this release!

Once again we would like to thank everyone for their suggestions and their support.

More exciting functionality for all of our end-users is being worked on as we speak. Hang in there with us, your loyalty will be rewarded!

Poor mods been busy again deleting all the hate and offtopic posts, I don't understand the hate, if people want to buy things then let them, it's their money to do what they want regardless of all the reasons mentioned previously.

Anyways been waiting for this update, finally folders!! Simple update but very appreciated, can finally clean up my sd card a little!!

i thought about that, that's means i have to turn on the another router that no one uses, and make my laptop and my switch connect to it, but in that time i can't use internet in my laptop, hmm, maybe i should use another wifi adapter to connect to wifi when i am using this.
I don't bother with all that, I just set my Switch's DNS settings to 0.0.0.0. When it tries to connect to the internet it can't and asks to open the browser to try and log into the hotspot. Once I select yes and the browser opens, I just exit out with the Home button and I'm connected to my local wifi. Only downside is it will disconnect from the local wifi if it goes to sleep or restarts.

Guys has anyone with a Lan USB adapter tried to send a file through ftp? Just to check what speed you get through a Lan cable.

just tried it, very good, however if you installed the nsp, then forgot to delete it, you can't delete it unless you installed it again.

also, you can't unisnall dlc and updates yet.

the FTP is nice, but being connected to the netwrok is not good, TX needs to put an option to block all nintendo server from reaching the switch.
however i am still wants that cheat engine function more then anything.

there a method using docker for PC that blocks all access but painfull to do.

i still wants that cheat engine function.

Hey sweets,
Do you know or have the source of addresses that need to be blocked ?
as il just add them to my wifi host file to block thanks.

damn i bet you use candles then :rofl2:

Ye, dragging the files using a computer.

So I've made an sxos folder on my sd card and within sxos I have made two folders, nsp and xci.

Anytime I put a new game on the sd card, I have to select all games and drag them out of the xci folder and into the sxos folder and then drag them back into the xci folder for them to be in alphabetical order when the switch is booted.

Use nxshell

I don't understand why people are wanting TX OS to be defeated...it's $30 for a license key...half the price of a Switch game...it's not like GateWay for 3DS where it cost double....(or Sky I think was over $100 on 3DS)...TX is dropping updates and adding features....other's are just talking.....other's have half solutions....sure, I give credit to these "free solutions" available, but seriously, they are a pain when you have to worry about LayeredFS, or what CFWs do what, etc.....TX OS menu is awesome. You have your XCI, NSP files and homebrew all in one page..there is no "compatibility list" to worry about with TX OS (to my knowledge, it's got 99% compatibility rate since v1.4)...sure, you have to pay money for the license and you feel like you're paying for piracy....however, hasn't that been that way since the PS1/Sega Saturn era? There was always a paid solution (modchip) then a free solution came later..free solution may not have been as easy as the modchip (like disk swapping with PS1/Saturn) and could be more of a hassle, but it was free...but people didn't ever say "stupid modchip companies charging money for what should be free...I mean, they are enabling piracy, so it should be free too...."...not to mention with those CD systems, if you wanted a huge stack of games, you were looking at buying more CDRs, if you got a bad burn/bad ISO, then you had wasted a disk and/or your time...with digital files, if it's a bad file, it just won't work more than likely....(unless it's a troll file that contains brick code), you just delete the file and try again with another file...

For the end user... You know, normal people (not like us Tempers), SXOS is the way to go. If you use SXOS, there is less chance of that dipshit you "chipped" a switch for keeps constantly knocking on your door. If modding consoles for a living, add it on to the cost.

Its only saddos like us who like playing with ReiNX / RajNX / GodNX / CockNX whatever.

SXOS barely crashes for me idk about u

I think he was referring to various "stability" fixes by OEMs...
