That sounds like you didn't restore your SD card back after doing the NAND restore. What do you see in System Settings -> Data Management -> 3DS software? Are your games there?
It says there's no accessible software. If I try to re-do the restoration, do I want to just wipe my SD again, put on the gm9/out/[restoration files], do that again, then copy back all the files? And also, is there a specific script I'm supposed to have for doing the restore? I just had the .gm9 files ffor Backup Sys/EmuNAND and Restore Emu/SysNAND with a Full and Safe for the SysNAND. I used the Safe one, but do I want to do the Full one?

Is your SD card formatted as FAT32? If it is exfat the 3DS won't be able to read it.

I can try reformatting it again. I thought I reformatted it to FAT32 using guiformat but it might not have worked. The 3DS appears to be able to use the SD card though. If I open up the camera app it says I can take 2,030 pictures, and taking two worked fine.

EDIT: After taking the pictures, it appears that they were taken on 5/30/2030 at 9:04 AM which is definitely wrong. Something may have gone wrong in the restoration?

I heard that with the new update, Nintendo can find pirated copies of games and ban you now. Since I haven’t updated yet due to the broken Luma on 11.8, am I safe for now and can Nintendo find me even though I’m on 11.7?

I'm looking to put CFW on a new 3DS XL which currently has 11.7 on it. I have access to a separate new 2DS XL, a DS Lite and an ok PC with a Geforce 970. What's the best option? Or with the new 11.8 update, should I wait until the smoke clears on the impact of 11.8?

Yeah I double checked on my PC and the SD card is properly FAT32, and I re-did the SysNAND restoration just in case something went wrong and it's still the same. Nothing shows up as being on the SD card. Should I try using a backup from a year ago if that's possible? That backup had like an otp.bin and all these other files

Ok if you don't care about your saves do this
1. Install B9S https://3ds.guide
2. When it gives you the option to Move emuNAND, do so

And you're done.

I'm having some issue. When I start the SoundHax, Nintendo Sound crash with the error "An error has occurred, forcing the software to close.".

I've tryed a 64Gb and 2Gb SD card, both formatted in FAT32.

I'm using Pre5.0 SoundHax for US on Old 3DS XL and otherapp1 (since I'm 4.0 to 9.2).

Am I missing something?

EDIT : Take note that the version 4.2.0-9U of my 3DS was patched by the Gateway software.

Download was so slow that I decided to ask.
Now it is completed and sucessfully booted the game.

I confirm Captain Toad's Treasure Tracker works on 11.6!

How were you accessing Gateway mode?

Well, I thought I only used the Red one. But maybe I used the blue one to patch the 3ds a long time ago.<

But to start the Gateway Mode, I use the red one and go to "Profile" in the 3DS settings

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Yes it does, but if you are using Gateway you should have one? The blue card is a DS flashcart. The Gateway red card is not.

Alright! I was able to start SafeB9SInstaller. It ask if I want to install FIRM?

EDIT : Well I'm guessing I had to install it. Now I'm at Section III - Homebrew Launcher where I selected the “Switch the hb. title to the current app.”. Problem is, when I close Download Play and restart it, the Homebrew launcher doesn't start. The "Nintendo 3DS" loading screen appear at the top screen with the animation but Homebrew never start.

Did you update your console? If you don't want to do an internet update you can do a CTR transfer to 11.2 instead, but it may wipe some of your data: https://3ds.guide/ctrtransfer

I updated to 11.8 by mistake. Is it possible to downgrade? I only have a old A9LH backup on my drive. I have B9S and luma installed right now.

Not sure if any of you remembers, but years ago there was this exploit where you could obtain a hacked pokémon using an internet browser exploit. I did it one time. Will I be banned? XD
