Well eh, i made a backup of my old SD card (64 GB) and transferred over all the files to my 128 GB sd card, but the installed games i had do not show up. Size wise it should still be near 64 gb so they are somewhere. any idea how i can fix this?

In FBI it shows the titles, but only in their title ID, not the actual name. text is green though (assuming installed?)

Green text means it's on the SD.
Anyway, in my experience with both 3DS and Switch, the X means that either the games' data is found but no matching ticket, or the ticket is found without matching game data.
Since you didn't modify your NAND (I assume), your tickets should be fine. That means that the 3DS, for whatever reason, just can't find the game data.

Now, whatever you do, don't delete your SD backup. Try formatting your SD card and restoring the backup again.
If that doesn't work, and if you haven't formatted the original 64GB SD, try creating another backup from it, and restoring that backup.
If it still has the same issue, we can just about rule out that your backups were messed up in some way.

At this point, I'd recommend checking your new SD card for bad sectors using h2testw.
If it comes back clean, you'll have to reinstall all your games (using either FBI, freeShop, or eShop), which will take a while. But it's your last choice.

Did you verify your new 128 GB card was real using H2testw before you copied your stuff over? What's questionable is why did your games fail to appear if you did a one-to-one copy. That shouldn't happen for a normal copy and paste.

Yes the card is real, i used it for my switch untill it was too small capacity wise.
