Xbox 360 receives new update after 2 years

IMG_8193.JPG

Despite having discontinued the Xbox 360 back in 2016, the system isn't entirely dead, as Microsoft has pushed out a new update for the console. The last time we saw an update for the 360, it was in March 2016, around three years after the launch of its successor: the Xbox One. Though the update is random, (potentially due to the new EU GDPR laws) it doesn't actually do much, as it's just a simple bugfix update, according to the patch notes. This puts the Xbox 360 at the latest dashboard version 2.0.17526.0 as of May 2018.

I can't even remember how to update my jtag, it's been so long (several updates prior to the previous one). The board I used to use to remind me of that sort of 360 stuff kind of went all ghost towny when the xbone came out.
