confirmed that in 3.0.0 it works. Could you implement accepting other cores? or at least carry the core of pcsx_rearmed.hmod that is used in the mini snes and that worked amazing, the mini snes is also based on

The switch retroarch loader uses static librarys for it's cores, so it's not possible right now.

I am not sure if it has some deeper meaning as in some quirks of switch internals or is just a oversight.

Hopfully it's an oversight, but I'm sure they'll address that issue one way, or another when they're ready for the initial release of their official builds.

Talking about how many exactly?
7000+ Roms

Retesting with my roms catalogued in folders haha

EDIT: Nope, still crashing, every folder has roughly ~200 roms and is still crashing. I have a Snes Mini with all of the roms in a single folder and it doesnt crash when using retroarch so I think there is a problem somewhere

EDIT: Same problem with VBANext Retroarch core, it takes it minutes to load a 'small' folder of roughly 70 roms, so it must be a problem with the way libtransistor handles sd reading

libtransistor is single core iirc, so thats the handicap atm.

There's only 1400 ROMs in both US and JP/EU libraries lol

Just checking in to say that I didn’t have time to compile the other cores today but you have my guarantee that I’ll do it either in 6 hours (depending on how late I get back to my place) or tomorrow at the latest <3 Also, I noticed that RA has been historically compiled without localization support so I’ll be sure to enable that before uploading. Oh, and I won’t be making a new thread. I’ll post the builds in the usual RetroArch thread. Happy Friday, everyone!

Don't worry about it man. Lots of people on here feel entitled, but in the end it's up to you entirely if you want to do it.
No pressure! :P

Nah, the libnx port isn’t close to being done atm. I still have to figure out why opening the rom freezes the app. I’m afraid it might have to do with how the lib is linked to the main app, which is a little out of my wheelhouse. It might also be related to my implementations of readlink and readpath. Debugging would be easier if Yuzu’s input worked in the retroarch builds but it’s unfortunately broken for me. It would really help if someone could test the RA nros in the other emu (Ryu-something lol) and see if the input is registered. If so, then I’ll install Windows in a VM to debug. I’m not about to do that for no reason, though lol. Also, for the libtransistor build, I’ll eventually try to look into setting custom aspect ratios, if possible.

Anyway, off to see Spongebob the Musical
