kodi-and-steam-on-ps4-linux-at-4-55-firmware-by-masterzorag-jpg.3979

With help from Linux Fedora 28 mesa Kodi and Steam is now running on PS4 4.55

From are good friends at Wololo.net

Scene member masterzorag has showcased Kodi and Steam running on PS4, via a Fedora Linux distribution.

Since PS4 firmwares 4.05 and 4.55 have been hacked, significant progress has been made on its Linux port, in particular with support for PS4 Pro/Slim.

French Site logic sunrise have published detailed tutorials (thanks to Tikilou) on how to install Manjaro Linux on the PS4 , which ships with Steam by default. Masterzorag has also been demonstrating Steam, as well as Kodi, running on PS4 Linux, with a Fedora 28 distribution.

If the video above is any indication, this is not fully usable yet, in particular because sound output seems to be broken.

Slightly related yet unrelated question, but why do people still turn towards Kodi? Personally, I can't get over the bad quality sources given by many developers. IPTV doesn't really appeal to me either. I feel as though simply googling or torrenting a movie/TV show would be the better option (at least in my long experience).

Is it just meant for people with little access to torrenting or computers and televisions capable of casting nowadays?

I understand that, but I find those pretty easily on my laptop with simple google searches or subreddits.

Convenience. I'd rather just type a single thing in and start watching rather then wasting time looking around for mainly dead links and dead leads. Kodi is better if you have a device solely for Kodi. Also, it completely depends on what you're looking for. Also, certain cases you can find movies you never heard of on Kodi, since it gives you access to the latest movies, etc. There's tons of more reasons beyond that, but you should get the point.

you dont have to use pirate kodi sources, kodi is still the best all around media player that can be installed on nearly any device, i use it to play files off my mediafire & mega.nz accounts, from my nas and ftp and even from my desktop as im downloading/ripping/encoding. i have access to everything i could ever want in just a few simple clicks fro my couch with my tv remote. there is nothing else that can access such a wide variety of files from anywhere imaginable besides a full fledged pc and thats only about a fiftieth as convenient.

I would like a Predator game "Kill Team" it takes place in the Jungle of the first movie, your team is sent to hunt the predator, using current tech drones and a trained team. Set traps use strategy to hunt and trap or kill the predator.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Ill stick with my Battlefield. Yea a predator hunting game like that would be cool. Esp if you can be Arnold and say "Get to da choppa"

I went today and looked at a motorcycle someone was selling. I get there and the battery on it was dead, so the guy grabbed a battery charger and hooked it up. He plugged it into the wall, and the motorcycle sparked and started smoking. Come to find out the bike uses a 6 volt battery and the guy had the charger set to 12v. I said sorry to the dude and walked away. I felt bad for him tho.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
He ruined it basically. Sad cause it was a decent old bike. It would take more money to rewire the bike than it was worth tho.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
