Hey! I didn't touch my 3DS for a long time. Yesterday I wanted to update Luma. But when I opened it, it showed this loading screen for a few seconds and then it crashed and I got a message that an error occurred and I had to reboot by pressing A.
How do I fix this?

What are the main things you are able to do with CFW which make it appealing other than playing CIA files?

Are there more than one title key databases? I'm trying to download Minecraft but it keeps failing

only one title key database. Minecraft only works on the NEW 3ds' There is a minecraft clone cia you can download instead

Make sure you have the latest luma v 9 boot.firm on the sd card. The updater doesn't work with the GitHub situation

I am facing a problem guys
I hacked my o3ds which was on 8.1.0 with the help of 3dsguide. Everyyhing was fine. I installed some games. While playing metroid i shutdown 3ds. But after some hours when i again power on my 3ds, there are only bright screens without any menu etc. I force testart it many time but not fruitful. Godmode and resolina menu is working fine. Any ideas to fix this problem??

You can do that if you wish, but most people would agree it is a bad idea to spend $80+ and get way less functionality than something that costs $10. Like choosing to buy a $10,000 push-bike instead of a $2,000 car. But up to you. If you have plenty of money and don't want the functionality that CFW provides, go for it.

Thanks for your answer. I misunderstood the real way how Sky3ds+ works. I was thinking everything was stored on ther card, compared to other solutions. I will get a R4i Gold Plus, following your advice. Thanks a lot.

I read something a while back about 2DS hacking and that ‘Ninja Cube’ game. I’ve got a 2DS and that game, is there something that I can be doing in regards to roms and such?

I heard awhile ago there were many bans from online services, and maybe even bricking of 3ds that had CFW. Can anyone summarize briefly or link me to a resource about how best to avoid bans, how likely bans are, how to handle bans, whether any online services can be used safely without bans, and any other up-to-date information about bans?

Make sure you choose encTitleKeys.bin (the one with a QR code). Not saying that's the issue, but there are multiple versions of title keys.

Everything is stored on the microSD inserted into Sky3DS. Not sure how good is emulator support, but don't play 3DS games online with it.

It has some japanese games not all, It doesn't show fire emblem if(despite showing the two newer ones), i was able to find an update cia but not a dlc one and its just more convenient to use freeshop for games.

Just checked my 3DS for the first time in a while and I go to the freeshop to find that the title keys aren’t there. Do I go to the normal site to get the title keys just like always? Is there a link on the first page of this thread?
