Everytime you say something like this I tend to laugh. Not because I disagree, but because it's wrong. There's a weird customer base with this system. Diablo will sell on the system, even at $60. It'd sell just as well on Android/Apple tablets.
There's a market for a portable Diablo. The only issue is that we won't see a new game anytime soon. Since, Blizzard is (yet again) re-releasing Diablo 3 in a new collection.
You honestly can't even be mad at Nintendo for a business decision made by Blizzard/Activision. This is assuming we'll see Diablo 3 on the Switch. You're right, though. The backporting is getting out of hand.
The sad truth is the system will continue to sell. It's got a huge userbase, and it will only keep increasing. It's because it's a weird system that does what it advertises and is getting support (whether you agree or not) from more third party publishers than the Wii U.
you can be mad at nintendo because all they do is release hardware that limits the devs, to save nintendo a few buck.
userbase means nothing, look at how large the wii userbase was, now ask why didnt third parties support it with its new titles, i mean its large userbase and expense to have a team create said game solely for the wii...... ohh wait they didnt and why.
its support is no different than systems before it, third parties will support it by porting its old titles that are able to run on the switch, once these games are done then support dies down.
its been seen on every nintendo console so i dont get why people fail to see this.
if these cheap to port titles dont bring in a good return then they dont bother supporting it with new or exclusive titles.
if your refering to the ole indy games that look like the stuff you find free on tablets wow, totes amaze balls.
theres been nothing that makes me say wow i must play this game.

The only thing I disagree with is the Switch dying due to how third party support is working. I just don't see that happening. The Switch will die or disappear because it can't keep up with how technology changes.
when i say die, i mean when this support ends (which it will trust me), no one will give a crap about the switch, you wont hear people bragging about it, the whole WOW i can play on the bus will be a fad of the past.
it will become silent and the only time youll hear of it is when nintendo advertise mario titles or its usual titles.
look at the n64, never really saw adverts, look at cube, look at wii, look at wii u, look at 3ds, very rare you ever seen commercials.
where as sony/microsoft you see far more third parties advertising its games.
im not saying this as a nintendo hating fanboy, i am saying this based on past experiences and what ive seen since the dawn of nintendo, and each generation they get worse and worse.
i remember when nintendo used to be the leader in hardware, they always tried to compete and have near the best hardware, back then nintendo used to have no question about support, but guess what, you cant go to a store these days and find xxx on ps/xbx and also have the option to play xxx on nintendo.
when you do, you have to wait for them to release its next gen system which means your playing it years later, while the other systems are getting the new titles.
i can get why the fanboys love it, most refuse to play anything other than nintendo, so while they slated sony/ms years back, they now love the shit they hated back then.
give it till the end of this year and see how little new third party titles it gets and see how many more old games get ported.... maybe at this point devs will drop off (EA already have).
