Homebrew Midi in Dosbox - Is there a better way?

So I've loved what I can do in dosbox on the 3ds - love love love

Have got both of these to work... not sure on if I can post the links to where I found the files but one is a demo (Roland) and MIDIer is a home-brew so I've posted them feel free to remove them or inform that I should move them.
MIDIer 2.50

Both of them work with the midi files in the directory of the program. For MIDIer I installed it to a folder called DOSUTILITES on the root of my card running though retroarch. For the Roland SMF Player, those files are in its own folder with the midi files inside of smf_disk.

Any other options to run Midi files I am missing? Other 3ds or dos specific music related home-brew I should try?
Edit (reason I am asking here is because I dont want to copy the music into each folder (dosbox sets each C:\ root from where you launch the file)
(go ahead and laugh that I call midi music lol)

Do you have Windows 98 installed? If so, windows media player can play midi, least, as far as i'm concered. But I really use 2000+ more often, so idk man. xD
