If you have a dump use WUP installer gx2. If you need the games download them from the eShop or use Wii U USB

Is it ok if I move the exclamation mark icon that used to another slot in the main menu of my wii U or will I brick it if I do that?

you can move it, or put it into a folder.
don't move it to USB, keep it on the console.

you can even run it (by accident), it's not a problem.
it's actually CBHC, except that you just launched it manually instead of being launched at boot by the console.
it will just do the same thing than the console is doing : patch the system menu to get CFW (except you already have it patched, so at worse it will just not work or freeze, shutdown and restart the console if it freezes)
don't run it manually on purpose, there's no use to do that.

How can I open homebrew channel? When I click on the exclamation mar icon it gets stuck on the white Wii U Menu screen. That icon is what used to be brain age which its icon still appears as brain age on quick start menu.

You can use it to open the Homebrew Launcher if you don't have the Homebrew Launcher Loader Channel Thingy

Not very clear, but I'm guessing you bought Brain Age from the Eshop to install Haxchi? Try re-installing Haxchi, then. You really should follow a guide, so you don't fu*k up your system. Try Kafluke's guide in the stickies of the hacking forum for WiiU.

yes, that what she asked me in PM.
Maybe I'll post it here to help other users.

I edited it a little to be more generic.

to launch the homebrew launcher, you have different methods :
1. the easiest is maybe to install the homebrew launcher channel, so it's easier to launch when you want it. This method don't need the homebrew launcher on SD card.

2. the second method is to use the exclamation icon, but like you said, it freezes. before it freezes you can enter the CBHC menu (press the home button when you launch cbhc). from the menu you can choose to launch the HBL (homebrew launcher).

3. At console's boot press the home menu. from here you can access the boot menu and select the HBL.

For method 2 and 3 you need the homebrew launcher file in your SD:/wiiu/apps/homebrew_launcher/homebrew_launcher.elf
For method 1, you need this one : https://github.com/dimok789/homebrew_launcher/releases

It's usually recommended to not touch the icon, so I recommend step 3 to launch it the first time.
from the HBL, run WUP installer GX 2, and install the HBL channel.
set CBHC to autoboot sysmenu and use method1 to launch HBL.

There's a method 4 which consist in installing another NDS game for haxchi.
you don't need an official (paid) NDS game this time as CBHC already provides signature check to launch haxchi. Just be extremely careful not to overwrite the NDS game already used by CBHC or you'll brick your console !

first of all that icon do not touch it it is basically your system menu if it breaks your system breaks what you seem to have done is forgot to install a homebrew icon when replacing haxchi with cbhc what you need to do is download the homebrew launcher channel version here: https://github.com/dimok789/homebrew_launcher/releases then make a folder on the root of your sd called Install then extract the homebrew channel you downloaded and put its folder in the install folder then when booting the wii u you should see a screen that says autobooting on that screen hit the home button/sync button and select homebrew launcher then just simply go into the homebrew app wup installer gx2/mod y and select homebrew channel and install

it's probably easiest just to install the homebrew launcher channel. I'm assuming that you've install cbhc, but are trying to use it as a normal haxchi game. this depends on if you moved or copied the game. if you copied it, haxchi will probably still work as long as the game being displayed is the usb version. the fact that you have an exclamation point icon suggests that you either moved or installed the game directly to the internal flash.

if you see mocha when you boot your console, then CBHC is not properly setup.

shutdown the console.
press power, and press the Home menu until you see the CBHC menu.
from that menu, select autoboot to "sysmenu", and save.

You don't need mocha.
Mocha does the same thing than CBHC, but it's slower to start and patch your console. there's no need to use it, CBHC is doing the same thing better.

Do I have to make a folder in the "instlal" folder named homebrew or something like that to put the files in there like the games downloaded with usb loader download? Because the RAR file you gave me does not come with the files in a folder.

Could it have something to do with the fact I put the files in my SD card with ftpiiu and filezilla?

I'm not sure how you loaded the game by doing that. the system uses an indexer to sort content which is what a normal install does. use wup installer gx to install the game.
