You said that they need different update, I said that cia and 3ds use same! What are you talking about?
You're making no sense. You said that they need different update, I said that cia and 3dsx use same!
So no extra space would filled with 2nd update
Its you who not make sense, I talk about updates and you about games! You're making no sense.
cia and 3dsx are different, they are not using the same folders/space on the SD card. The updater will only update both if it is designed that way. Which might be the case actually... It would make more sense.
Anyway you don't need extra space.
At no point I'm talking about games. I'm just talking about updating freeshop, which was Clutz450 question...Its you who not make sense, I talk about updates and you about games!
Games in different format, ofc duh...
But if they have same eur region and have same number id like 000400000017A800 then there no way it would request download other update!
Yes, that's right.
If you want to be safer from bans you can do this, but it isn't proven what causes bans so it's up to you.
The downsides of using 3dsx homebrew only are that 1. it's a little slower to use and 2. some 3dsx apps don't perform as well as their cia counterparts.
I'm not sure. Have a look in the activity log and see if it registered FreeShop or Download Play.I just realized something. I can launch installed titles from FBI itself. So if I want to be safe and don't want to use the .3dsx version, can I inject Homebrew Launcher into Download Play to launch into Homebrew Launcher, from there launch FBI.3dsx and then launch the installed .cia version of FreeShop that way? Am I correct in this way of thinking? Or once I boot FreeShop from FBI through Homebrew Launcher injected into Download Play will it then log that I am using FreeShop now instead of thinking that I am still in Download Play?
I know I'm going a bit overboard but if it works without issues and there is a chance it is safer from a ban this way I think I will do it this way from now on. Thanks.
if it was, i wouldn't risk it, unless you want to get your NNID banned.the people saying about pokemon USUM says are available early before was released ¿thats true? i dont believe anything because its too radical dreaming for me *cof* reference *cof*
NNID? i m banned already... in that case i don t care in certain measure what you saying i dont be rude with you but i m banned already i hope what do you mean its the same me i meanif it was, i wouldn't risk it, unless you want to get your NNID banned.
your CFW? no support freeshop? thats strange you knowDisclaimer: I'm still new to CFW and I might not be aware of some resources, so feel free to just link to a resource I should look into.
I'm running into two issues:
1- This might be the database not being updated, but freeShop isn't recognizing Etrian Odyssey V.
2- For games I've purchased and gotten some DLC for already, I'm getting the "wrong title key" error. I've gotten this error with Smash and Blaster Master Zero so far, but Mighty Gunvolt worked just fine (a game I purchased but didn't get any DLC for). I saw something somewhere that said to just delete the DLC and redownload all of it, but that didn't work.
Thanks in advance.
Ah, my b. I'm using whatever the latest version of Luma is (8.1.1, I believe) and freeShop 3.1.7. I mean, I'm able to download games just fine, and even get the updates and DLC for those games, but it's strictly the games I purchased straight from the eShop and already purchased DLC for. Should I just backup my saves and reinstall those games?your CFW? no support freeshop? thats strange you know
Did you do the second step on the first post, under "How to use it"?Ah, my b. I'm using whatever the latest version of Luma is (8.1.1, I believe) and freeShop 3.1.7. Once again, the primary function of being able to download games works just fine. Example being: I was able to download and install Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold as well as the updates and DLC. All of that functions just fine, tested and everything. However, when I try to get the updates and DLC for, say, Smash, a game I bought when it first came out and bought some of the DLC for already, I get the "wrong title key" error.Did you do the second step on the first post, under "How to use it"?
If you didn't, I'll save you some time and tell you you need to google it for yourself, it's not allowed to post it here.
