öhm i patched yesterday breath of fire 2 us to german translation and have no compatiblity problem with the game.

the strange is that some trouble games works fine at my mini snes like double dragon or tales of phantasia

Did you patch the game or how did you get it to run on the SNEs Mini ?

Awesome, thanks so much Robin64! Can anyone independently confirm this works in Canoe? I'm hoping that both Gaia and Star Ocean 1 can be ran native from Canoe..I love the idea of my SNES classic being the JPRG station.

It was created by using uCON64 and running the -l command on the ROM (Which was a SlowROM fix for old SNES cart loaders)

This PAtch works great for Gaia but doesn't work on the PAL version Illusion of Time .

PLEASE HELP ME: i have installed the mod -no-smooth over the original nintendo emulator and i like that image quality with scanlines only.

instead when i have to play on retroarch only games i don't like at all that horrible crt effect with scanlines (this are the perfect scanlines?), i want to apply the original nintendo crt mode with scanlines only (no smooth) is this possible on retroarch too? how??

In the retroarch menu go the video settings and near the very bottom look for something that says bilinear filtering and turn that off.

After trying to put an .hsqs snes nand on my nes classic with the ftp, the console no longer works!! I can't access FTP to remove this file either, what can I do ?!

another bug: i have installed all the retroarch cores, but after formatting the snes, original kernel, and again modded kernel, now all the retroarch cores and mods i have currently installed and working are appearing unselected on the hakchi program, even if i previously activated them. they are working but result unselected on the program, even if i try to select them again and save settings on the snes. forever unselected on the program

They won't stay checked in the menu. They will still be installed on the console though.

Neither, I just want to keep everything in Canoe. Nothing against retroarch and I haven't been using borders yet, so I can't speak to them, but my preference for my SNESC is to only have SNES games on it, and only run them natively in Canoe. It's purely a personal preference.
