Because my NS Atmosphere injector battery is swelling I decided to get an RCM Loader off ebay as that is the only injector that seems to be available. Not too sure how to get it updated though. I used the provided USB cable and it does not show up as a USB device. Tried a few different USB cables including the one that came with the NS Atmosphere, and it does not show up.

Is there something I need to do to access it on PC so I can upload the latest build of Atmosphere fusee.bin on it? I press the + button but it does not make it detectable. When plugged it the light does turn red, and hitting the + button makes it blue as long as it is held down. But otherwise, I cannot figure out how to write new data to it.

From what i know of these newer rcm loaders do not connect to a pc. Instead they read a payload.bin from the root of your sd card instead.

There are two little holes on the bottom of your rcm loader one of them is a reset switch use a needle or a paperclip to reset it.

So I would download the fusee.bin from Github and place that on the root of the SD card, and then put the switch in RCM and inject it?

You probably got the non updateable one, the original one is no longer available for purchase.

Thanks, did this and though it does not seem to respond when placed into the Switch. Even after clicking the + button.

Edit: Tried it a bit more. Putting payload.bin (renamed from fuse.bin from Github) does not work on either decvice. Removing the file from the SD cart root works with the NS Atmosphere injector like usual.

Regardless of the payload.bin file's presence, the RCM Loader does not do anything. It just shows a blue light when plugged into the Switch.

An RCM loader will not read anything from the SD card from the Switch.
That's bullocks. The RCM loader cannot access the SD card from the Switch.

For the newer RCM loaders, just connect it with the microUSB cable to your PC and it should show up as an USB drive.
The newer ones has this LED color which indicates which payload from which folder is selected.
So a blue led will inject the payload for Atmosphere.

Make sure the payload in that folder is the same version as your Hekate/Atmosphere version on your SD card.
Putting fusee.bin in the root will not work. The RCM loader looks for it inside the folders with the names below.

When connecting the RCM loader with the microUSB port, you will only need to press the button to update the firmware of the RCM loader itself.
