Grabbed latest loader.dol from official github. Never had any issue before but I tried to run Smash Melee and get nothing but freezing problems. Like if I enter some game mode and go into character select, if I try to exit out the game will almost always freeze.
Sometimes if I sit in character select too long even the game will freeze. I have tried enabling and not enabling progressive scan at the prompt, but the behavior is no different (saw some old threads that might be an issue).
I'd go back to my older version but I deleted it thinking I wouldn't have any issue, and really have no idea what version it was (4 something?). Ideally though, I'd love to be running the latest.
Anyone have any idea what might be going on?
