Homebrew Is there any way to play the Castlevania DS games on my 3DS w/ Homebrew? (Other than TWLoader)

I'll be honest I just want to play the 3 Castlevania games for DS! I got Homebrew working, I've figured out how to inject and emulate older games using the FreeShop and CIAs. And I installed the TWLoader, but it seems the game support is pretty spotty. Specifically, none of the Castlevania DS games seem to work. So Is there any other way to do this or do I just need to wait for more work to be done on TWLoader?

no, you can't with homebrew alone, you would have to buy a flashcart and play them like that, Dawn of sorrow worked on ndsbootstrap v0.4.0 or something like that but with long loading times and freezing.

Got any suggestions on which one to buy?
if you want the cheapest you get an ace3ds - like 8 bucks
if you want the quote "standard" you get an r4i - around $12-20
if you want one that will work with the upcoming ntrboothax you get an ak2i $20-25
if you want the strongest ds mode flashcard on the market you get the scds2(+) around 40 bucks

Thanks :3! What are the benefits of having a Flashcard that will "work with the upcoming ntrboothax"?
Sorry, I'm new to all of this.

What about Super SD 2? That is a total good cart, real time save stats, slow down, cheat maker and such. :)

Hey as long as it'll play the Castlevania DS games I'm all for it. Those games are like $75
Those games are great. I personally have only ever seriously played Aria of Sorrow and the ...sequel?... Dawn of Sorrow. Some people hail DoS as the best game in the series.

I think I only ever played Dawn of Sorrow and Portrait of Ruin...and I don't think I beat either! That was years ago. Lost my DS and all my games and just now bought a used 3DS XL when I found out about Homebrew.

Cause it probably plays close to symphony of the night, not to mention you DO get to play as Alucard, even if he reduced to side character status. But you are playing as the main character who inherit dracula's powers so technically has alucard like abilities. :P

I'm kinda upset people seem to like the games that don't feature a belmont or whip using character (Nathan Graves or Jonathan Morris) Circle of the moon and Harmony of Dissonance was good games, and so was portait of ruin. Though i did like order of Ecclesia best. :)

Harmony of Dissonance for GBA was my fav Metroidvania outside of the originator SOTN - But I remember DoS and PoR being interesting, fun, and beautiful!

lol . . . super card ds 2 + yeah thats my personal recommendation but i am often met with resistance from the community whenever i suggest it
Well I dunno, probably cause is expensive. I admit it is expensive, but I did buy one (now only i can find it in my house) is quite good. Real time save states, and multiple save files switching for games like pokemon which only has one save, Realtime cheat making, and slow down. Is a total package. Just probably uses a lot of power and drains battery fast.

I'm almost tempted to buy a new one just talking about it. :P

I think people don't recommend it cause of the price and usually not if you have a 3DS with homebrew or CFW, usually cause most of the features wouldn't be useful when you can already do some with 3DS CFW like the emulators. Don't worry about the resistance. :)
