This is a great step forward. Maybe we will be able to extract saves from games like Minecraft and edit the maps

Amazing.
The beginning of a new great homebrew scene.

I'm wondering, have they managed to dump the save's data?
I want to see if it's possible to share data between the Wii U and Switch version of BotW, and if it's possible to transfer the save from Wii U -> Switch and viceversa.

Yes it is possible. Yellows8 already did it with breath of the wild. (converting save from wiiu to switch)

If I'm not mistaken, the no-WiFi icon was updated from 2.3.0 to 3.0.0.
2.3.0:

3.0.0:
NewWifi.png
While the 2.3.0 icon does appear in 3.0.0 when attempting to connect to an access point, as far as I know, the 3.0.0 icon never appears in 2.3.0 or earlier -- instead displaying the zero bars WiFi icon when not connected to WiFi. Based on this, it would seem that the top system in the first tweet is on 3.0.0. Perhaps this provides security to those who updated for Splatoon 2? :P

(Of course, I could be completely wrong.)

The saves can be accessed anyway from your micro sd card all you have to do is plug it in your pc and away you go, its nothing ground breaking they are all in a "save" folder. I'm sure converting them to say Zelda on the wiiu would not be a problem.. there coded the same way something like>0000008 etc.. on the MSD also he could easily transfer a save from one switch to the next that's not illegal!

Saves are stored on the internal storage..

I was just about to change my comment and say of course I might have this completely wrong. If you plug your micro sd card in your pc you can access a "save" folder but that might be for something else related to the system I'm not sure.

I found 2 Saves on my Switch mSD card, one named "8000000000000000" that is about 1.87 MB, and the other named "8000000000000124" that is about 20.3 MB. On my computer, it does not say what type of file the saves are, nor is there a date and time stamp. Hope this info helps...

I don't think so, its not illegal to transfer a save from one Switch to the next.

Yeah those are the ones I'm on about :) and yes mine are of a similar size so maybe there not game related does sound a bit strange though in a save folder!
