Except for Sonic Chronicles...we don't talk about that game...
If i was good at photo shop, i would attempt to put a blur effect on that video, except I am not good at it. Best I would do is put a black censor bar with "CENSORED" on it over the post. :P

On serious note, Is fact sega has been more motivated about music in sonic games. Sonic 1 and 2, music composer, Dreams come true. Sonic 3, Jun Senoue, Howard Drossin, and Michael Jackson. Sonic CD, 2 seperate music sound tracks for USA and JAP region. Sonic spinball, Howard Drossin again. Sonic Rush, Hedeki Nakamura. (Previously Composed Jet Set radio soundtrack) Sonic racing transformed, Richard Jaques (Previously Composed for Jet Set radio) EVIDENCE! Rumor of Justin Timberlake Composing music for sonic 4. :ninja:

I disagree wholeheartedly. Sonic has had way more good games than bad. The only really bad ones are 06, heroes, and Shadow the Edgehog (even then, they can still be fun).
I don't understand where this meme that his games are shit came from.

I enjoy just about every one of them, even Sonic heroes and Shadow I thought were pretty decent. (Can't say the same towards 06 though).

I feel that since 06 people have been much harsher towards sonic games in general, newer and older ones alike.

But yeah the music is pretty kickin in most of them.

It pretty much was just 06. If you noticed, after 06 sonic was pretty much disregarded by everyone. The games that came afterwards were good, but they were ignored save for boom, which was almost as bad as 06.
I'm glad that things seem to be turning up for him now.

Sonic Adventure 2 was bad as only the sonic/shadow levels were decent.
Sonic heroes was awful do to terrible controls
Shadow the Hedgehog...the whole thing was awful same crap controls of heroes and a WTF story
Both Sonic Rush were hold X to win
We already know about Sonic 06
Sonic and the Secret Rings had awful controls
Sonic Unleashed while not awful those werehog levels were pretty meh
Sonic and the Black Knight shake remote to win
Sonic Colors I just didn't think it was fun...like at all and I don't know why

Most of these games had something good about them but Sega needed to release another game to work on them instead of jumping all over the place after one game.

I do not agree. People have always shitted on modern Sonic games, but the only really bad recent Sonic game is Rise of Lyric, and it's a spin-off.
This Haedow video sums up the situation perfectly:

I disagree mostly. The emerald hunting stages were the only really bad parts, and even then it wasn't that big of an issue until the end stages.
Sonic heroes I agree was pretty shit because of the controls.
Shadow again with the controls, but I didn't find it as bad. The stage variety was pretty nice, as were most of the stages. I'd have a better opinion of it if they let you do expert mode from the start. Story was also hilariously bad to the point where I was enjoying it in an ironic way.
I found Rush to be really fun, especially for speed running. It has the Dimps issue of having random bottomless pits but I don't think that's enough to make it a notably bad game. Rush Adventure was pretty much more of the same, just with needless fluff.
Haven't played Rings and BK but I'll take your word for their quality.
Unleashed was as you said, not terrible but with a weird second half to it. The wii version was the shit though, I found the werehog sections way more tolerable.
Colors was great fun. Only issue I had was the bosses.
Given everything listed, I can understand that some people had issues with the franchise during the 2000's. But this idea that the games are shit is something I think needs to die, because there are some real gems here and it'd be a shame if people missed out on them.

This is actually true for most of my favorite games. Soundtrack is the most important part for me in any game, after that story (although that one depends on the kind of game), then gameplay, then graphics.

What? Sonic Heroes was good
Sad truth about sonic games is that their fanbase is officially the cringiest fanbase ;o;
True, I mean have you ever seen Sonic porn? :tpi:
Edit: Also, Sonichu.

I played the crap out of Sonic 1 and 2 and love those games so much. So, that's the Sonic I know and love, but I have fond memories of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on Gamecube, and DX: Director's Cut. Come on, City Escape on the former, unforgettable. I don't think those games are classics, but I got used to that 3D Sonic style, it's more of a learning curve than the 2D style. Trying to accept this is what Sonic became, even back then. Somehow Mario's transition to 3D was so much smoother. Why do you think SEGA keeps trying to bring the 2D style back into the Sonic games? Even they know the 3D can be flimsy, which Shadow the Hedgehog kind of exhibited that for me, but I still liked the game. I've spared myself the trouble of playing Sonic 06 and Sonic Boom. I forgot about Sonic Heroes, yeah that was good. I liked Secret Rings, that 3D was better, but it wasn't mainline Sonic. Sonic Unleashed was, but Werehog was not great. I played a bit of Sonic and the Black Knight, that was okay. Basically, classic Sonic stopped when they moved to 3D. I haven't played Sonic CD, so for me, classic Sonic stopped specifically after Sonic 3 (& Knuckles). That's why Sonic Mania is so massive for me, it looks like the Sonic I loved at 10 years old, a new Sonic experience that should match the ones had with Sonic 1-3. I almost cried watching that initial trailer for the game, that's how much this upcoming game means to me.

I would completely disagree with this. Sonic Adventure 2 and DX are fantastic games! Their story and gameplay are amazing! They are two of some of my favorite games, and they are also childhood games! The music in them are great, but they certainly do not beat the gameplay

The sonic series is fantastic

Kinda the only sonic game I like.

True, I mean have you ever seen Sonic porn? :tpi:
Edit: Also, Sonichu.

Unfortunately I have.
I'm trying to process it with a fuck ton of drugs and alcohol.

Sa1: Really good and fun for its first true 3d sonic game
Sa2: Can you imagine the shit this game would have took if everyone was a speed racer liker sonic/shadow? Gave the rest of the crew different game play styles which was 100% okay.
Sonic Heros: don't know why people are saying it's shit, played it for both ps2 and GCN and controls felt fine.
Sonic Rush: The music was non stop amazing especially switching between sonic and blaze. People say you just spam the boost but I can say that that only worked for the first zone not the rest, go back and play the game to see what I mean.
S06: Could get past the first stage because I quit. Just trying to get to the stage was a Hassel because I kept falling through some invisible floor barrier.
Sonic Unleashed: Werehog stages were a bane to my existence later on but felt really fun. Day time stages were absolutely amazing and I loved to master them. Music was 10/5
Sonic Generations: F.U.N
