Hello people at GBAtemp!

I treat my switch like a princess and suddenly a tiny piece chipped off on the plastic, and it kinda let´s me not touch my Switch because I am anxious it will get worse.
Is it worth sending in now? or should I wait until it gets worse. I keep paying attention on it while playing and it bugs me.

OP I think worrying about very minor aesthetic flaws is just a byproduct of being a new owner of a console. Trust me in a few months' time you'll laugh at the fact that it ever bothered you. I don't think it's worth sending in at all at the moment (and I doubt they would do anything), but if it ever does evolve into a giant gaping hole then sure.

No, don't send it as Nintendo will end up thinking it's not worth giving you a replacement for something so minor.

yep send it in an they will charge you full price of a refeb system.

Thats damage was cause by user no system fault.
You might treat your system like a princess but that doesnt mean you didnt hit it on something.

I don't blame the dude! I would kick off as well. I have the tiniest little bubble on the bottom right hand screen when I put my screen protector on and now I'm thinking about sending it back altogether because it bugs the hell out of me!. Taking it off and replacing it with a new one is regardless because it will never be the same again!!

True, maybe I reacted a bit too desperate by hearing from you guys responses.
looks like I got nothing to worry since if it ever gets worse or anyhing major, I can always send it in, and not for just for some minor damage.

-snip- But I agree OP is being a little dramatic. If it worsens I'd say something. But the plastic they used on the switch is a bit weird, so I'm not shocked. I expect a reversion using something different.

TBH my DS Lite fell from a car in movement, and it got some scratches in the plastic. The same way I dropped my 3DS XL in a stairway and the the paint got scratched in a small section. Both work great, and I by no means treat them as princesses, but those small cosmetic consequences are more than acceptable to me.

I couldn't find the problem the first time I opened the pic and looked it over. I reread and looked again and still had trouble finding the problem. I don't even know how you noticed that. It isn't even in a place you would normally look. I can't think of any good reason to send it in for this.
