All credit for the firmware image to @Normmatt who's awesome. This is to demonstrate that the NTR card bootrom hack (ntrboothax? magnethax?) works on real hardware.

It will be released once more types of cards are supported + installers work well -- don't want to get everyone to buy a single expensive type of flashcart if it can be made to work on lots of them.

For more details: see my presentation on bootrom hax

afaik DSTWO is supported.
The AceKard at first was the one that was the centralized component in allowing the poc to work, since it's just easier for reason reason. But I'm hoping other carts like R4 and DSTWO get that same support.

I hope the DSTwo will work, cause I'd hate to have to buy another flash card to fix my bricked n3ds but I could live with getting a ak2i if I have to... Still awesome that this is a thing though.

Normmatt was one of the AKAIO devs. That's the ak2i's firmware of choice. Makes sense that's the first card he'd support.
Good news is that it has lots of clones.

Sorry for ignorance, but could this fix a brick where I installed the wrong size of NAND and it was from a different system all together? Probably not, but hopes are up.

And since you were one of the devs of B9S, could I install someone else's NAND with B9S?

Thanks for all of your work

This unbricks any brick, as long as you don't go slicing up your 3DS.
You don't need a NAND backup to unbrick.
