Thats what it's saying.. this happend after using freeshop to download the themes dlc lol
hot damn, this is going to be a pain in the a$$ for you.

sorry, but i personally have no idea how to remove all at the same time, afaik you can only delete one at a time from the 3ds official theme section..
and that really sucks, nintendo should have added an option to delete All at the same time, like a Mark All.

:l , but maybe you can look it up with FBI mate, open FBI and go to titles.
then look for something called 'theme' (this is how it looks for me with installed themes the official way)

so if you delete that, all of the themes should be gone.

Can't you delete them through freeshop? Freeshop let you uninstall DLC and update.
There is 3 theme dlc packs if I remember, just dl one, check if the one you want is in it, if no, uninstall it and dl another one.

All dlcs for a game are installed under the same titleID, so when you have DLC 1 installed and purchase DLC 2 for a game, you don't have 2 dlcs installed but rather DLC 2 added on top of DLC 1. Each theme is basically a separate dlc for the home menu.
Freeshop only knows from the eShop that dlc content is available for a particular game. There is nothing (that has been found yet) in that chunk of data that allows it to tell if that's one or multiple separate dlcs, which is why you can only install all dlcs at once with freeshop.

Tl;Dr : Themes are dlcs. Freeshop sees all dlcs for a game as a package and cannot install part of it. If you really want an eShop theme that bad, you'll have to download all 500 of them and delete some by hand.

If you want to download Themes to use with Home Menu's own theme manager, you need to install a CIA. On that iso site there is a package with all the themes separately, and a bat file that will merge ones you choose into a cia with only those themes. The more detailed instructions are there.

If you don't want that hassle, then either use CHMM2 or Themely.

Freeshop dl Themes dlc as 3 packs (too many data for only one I suppose). Even if the download is launched as one, you can still stop 2 dl of the 3.
The third will still download.
Never had a corrupted file or something.
I didn't test it fully though, I use personalized theme.

Not exactly. It's not that Freeshop downloads them as 3 separate packs, it's Nintendo who has 3 titleIDs reserved for themes. Each of them contains different ones.

I was not sure about 3 different title ID. But yea, I think there is less than 500 per pack so OP can download one, check, if not pleased, uninstall and dl another one.

Well it's still less than you had to delete before, kek.

Only solution now, is to go on that iso site and find the one you want yourself.

And I couldnt find them in FBI...
No thats not (really) the solution(well maybe later) because even if I already know the one i want to use i still need to delete a shit load of them..
So how can I delete any installed theme's via FBI or otherwise..?

I dunno if you can delete them one per one with FBI, so you're done for deleting them one per one :/
Unless someone who know more about it come here.

AFAIK the data management in the configuration applet of 3DS system let you delete the packages of themes (entirely), it's listed alongside with every DLC package that you may have.
I seriously recommend using homebrew themes managers (CHMM2 or the newer one mentioned before in this thread) over downloading and/or making CIAs to handle what theme you want installed.

This.
I was about to install all the themes earlier cause I want some new ones rather than the 100 I have that are all several years old. I was suggested Themely and indeed there is a theme pack for Themely containing all the official themes, so it should make things simpler.

You guys are making this way to complicated.

1. Download the themes with freeshop.
2. Open the system settings and delete the themes from the data management section.
3. Open theme shop, go all the way to the bottom and select "theme collection".
4. ????
5. All themes are now available in the theme shop. #Profit

Really you won't have all themes but you will have most of them.

A faster way is to just install the tickets with ciangel and then begin at step 3.
