Hacking What's difference between Haxchi Sysnand CFW and Mocha Sysnand CFW ?

Hi,

I'm going rednand less, and I'm trying to know what's better between Haxchi cfw and Mocha sysnand cfw ?
From what I have found, the two options are regionfree and signature patches.

They both basically do the same thing it's just they way you launch them that is different. For mocha you need to load the Internet app each time you want to use it and for Haxchi you just click on it like a regular game plus you can mod haxchi to autoboot when you switch on the WiiU using coldboot haxchi. Mocha is free haxchi you pay for plus some homebrew does not work on Haxchi. It really depends on if you want to spend money or not what one to go for but both work really well.

Hi, whatever solution I choose I will go by Haxchi, the question is do I need to launch mocha CFW or only go by Haxchi CFW, what are the benefit of using one or another ?!

Go with haxchi. If something does not work (save editing, ticket swap/editing?) use mocha. That's how I do it.
I need to update haxchi to the latest version.

You shouldn't use a CFW to load another CFW. You should use one or the other, not both. If you want to spend the money for the VC DS Game, go with Haxchi, it's much easier and faster to launch then Mocha. But it's up to you.

Err you need to buy a ds game from the eshop to use haxchi so you need to spend money so there for to use Haxchi it is not free.

For legit HaxChi you need to buy DS game from eshop. For extra HaxChi's (basically elf shortcuts) you can use non legit DS games

Haxchi is basically more convenient. If you use CBHC ( I only don't because of curious children) then it's basically loading without you even having to do anything.

I'm in Germany and I was able to download Brain Age/Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training for free. I would assume it may be the same for some other European countries?

I actually never see this mentioned in guides that you don't always have to pay "for Haxchi" and that it can be as free as Mocha, depending on your location.

It mostly applied to launch models I think. I got one of the black launch models and I had the free Brain Training. A few of my acquaintances never had the game.

Brain training was only free in Europe for people who registered their NNID before June 2014 for everyone else you need to pay this is well know and has been talked about numerous times on this site.

That's really weird then, because I created my first NNID about 2 months ago after I bought my Wii U and I had free Brain Training..

Brain Age was free in 2015 again.
Even if you didn't buy it, it linked to your console. I myself have launch model and I got it the day it was free.
