Very new, very dumb. I have a Japanese 3DS and downloaded freeshop last week. I try to open some of the American and/or European version of the game I want and they still open in Japanese. As stated before, I'm still new so if someone can help me, please try to be as detailed as possible since I might not understand some things.. thanks

Yes, then start it after it downloads.

Sorry if I'm being annoying, but I feel like something's missing. I tried changing the games' regions and languages to USA and English respectivley, but they still show up as Japanese?

Im at a loss. My only other suggestion is changing the language of the console.

Make sure you're using the correct LocaleSwitcher. New version of Luma3DS changed the location and format. Use this.

I downloaded Mario Sports Superstars, Bravely Default, Bravely Second and Hyrule Warriors

Those games are most likely region free games, meaning they will take the language of the console. Using the correct LumaLocaleSwitcher should work.

I think Bravely Series has both languages built it. You can change it in the options. Might not be accessible for a while. You can't change it in the beginning cut scenes.

I just realized how much of an idiot I am didn't check the Allow game patching option for the luma configuration. Sorry for all this trouble. And cute Shigure Avatar!

I don't know if I will update it frequently, I just wanted to add some features that were absent on the original version.
Theme support will be added in 3.0.1, it's still WIP, and I will TRY to implement downloading games while in sleep mode.

Oh, yes japanese of course xD
I just need to "study" their keyboards, that's why I didn't added this keyboard for the moment.
