Chapter 1 - Before destruction.
I wanted to keep my privacy safe, safe from the OS family I once knew to be a great, strong and trustworthy System of Operation in which I can keep my data safe and managable, Windows 7. 7, 7, 7, the shining of the Aero glass with it's great blurring beauty, the unfriendly and even possibly scary BSoD, the OS we all loved to use was just perfect. How could Microsoft fall any further, this software is perfect, if they mastered the design, elements and usablilty for newcomers, there's no way they can ruin this experience! Well, I was wrong.
Chapter 2 - What's next?
Looks like there's a new guy in charge of the big guns now, Satya Nadella. I'm excited to see how he'll improve upon the latest hated Operating System, Windows 8. Maybe he'll kill it and improve upon Windows 7, maybe he'll make a Windows 9, giving the choice between sweet aero and the okay metro. It'll hopefully be good whatever he comes across, and once again make a choice that'll dominate both Mac OS X and Linux.
Chapter 3 - The start of distruction.
Windows 10. People were dicussing the name, and the new changes that is seen with it. It also seems that it will be free to upgrade to this new version, looks like they've made a great choice, and I'm optimistic about this new Operating System. It's metro, with the great start screen we all knew and loved! Seems like Satya really does care about the public's thoughts, and wanted to make it fair for everyone.
Chapter 4 - The start of the realisation.
It's been a few months. Microsoft seems to be forcing Windows 7/8 users to upgrade to Windows 10, and it also seems that we are not safe with this Operating System at all, in fact, it is trying to spy on us, we don't know what they want from us, but it is certain that they need something out of us. We were dicussing this matter, and we conclude that it seems that Microsoft wants us for ad money, but we're still unsure about what they're mining out of us, and if there's a way to stop it. We'll wait for a way to stop this in the mean time, and try to me positive about it. Besides, this surely can't be true, we're not useful to them...
Chapter 5 - The move out.
I'm done. Why should I keep bowing down to Microsoft, when I'm surely their ad slave? I can't even get the proccesses to shut up! It's not fun with this, and I can't move to Windows 7 as that has more security flaws. It's time to move on, and start making a living out of Linux. Goodbye Windows 10, and hello Linux.
Chapter 6 - Freedom!
It's been another few months, and I'm experiencing the greatest feeling of all time. It feels like my OS, it looks like what I want, and it's perfect. If I miss the Windoze feel, I can just change the DE/look of the distro. The fun just never ends! It looks great, it feels great, it acts gre- IT IS GREAT! Thank you Linux, and fuck you Windoze! Except Windows 7, fellow Linux master race, don't kill me pls
