Well folks, there won't be any preview pics today. The company I ordered from sent me standard PVC cards and not inkjet cards, despite much clarification and assurance. I have submitted a refund request because I could get standard PVC NTAG215 cards for cheaper than what I paid for these ones. If they tell me I can keep these ones then I'll likely go the sticker paper route rather than let them go to waste.

I updated my guide, if anyone wants the guide + files send me a PM

Now it includes Tagmo 2.1 and just one single keys.bin file (unfixed key + locked key combined)

Now it should be as simple as loading the keys.bin file one time, then just load your amiibo bin file and ready to write.

I tried to pm you but don't know how. I'm new here.

Id like to get this from you but have spent 20 minutes trying to find the option to PM you. Maybe it doesn't let me since I just made my account. I just don't know where to send you a message.

I finally made some tags after a year of posting that. I gotta say, I'm at a loss at how to make them. The program is pretty buggy and had to use an older version before I created a few amiibos. I had to use Tagmo 2.1, and 2.3.1 also worked. But the latest version crashes as soon as you scan a tag.

I'm surprised people still see my old post about the guide haha

Can you help me out? I'm thinking of using Tagmo 2.1 but need the bin file for the keys.

You wanna be banned? Read thread how find or make one, nobody would share them...

Maybe you could have told me that instead of being condescending. I had no idea that no one would share them. This is the first time I even attempt any of this stuff. Thanks for your help tho...

Ah damn. If you were to print on it, would the ink not settle at all? So it can be wiped?

Did it say non inkjet on package?

The ink just beads up and wipes off clean. There is no package, it's a deck box with 100 shrink wrapped cards in it. The online listing specifically said Inkjet Printable ID card but after submitting a refund request it's clear these vendors have no clue what inkjet printable means.

I may just get regular PVC NTAG215's (cheaper than these ones) and treat them with this stuff meant for playing cards: http://www.inkaid1.com/inkaid-coatings/inkaid-clear-semi-gloss-precoat

It's basically the same coating that photo paper has. I can brush it on the cards an then run it through the printer that way.

@AnalogMan

What I personally do is get a template created for the cards on PrinterStudio.com and have custom playing cards printed out. These are professionally done and extremely high quality; basically those top quality poker playing card materials you'll see in casinos...then I put the sticker NTAG215s in the circle where the Amiibo symbol is. Works great and I don't have to worry about printing anything myself.
