My gamepads gyro Sensor is broken too.
I couldnt rotate weels in rayman legends, there it was a game breaker. But in Zelda the shrines i could work around the foult by exiting and reusing the Maschine after making some progress

yes it is quite clear, and isolated in this instance, you just need the gamepad for a gyro based puzzle. I've heard of later parts of the game where you can tilt things but no idea if they use gamepad there.

7 shrines require Gamepad so [I have ~20-40 shines already so don't ask what shrines...] [It might be more]
Some require gyro in order to complete [Hammer physics etc.]

Cool, but annoying If anyone post the names, i'll put them in the OP, also any gamepad bypassing tricks I'll add should anyone discover methods to compelte the puzzles without.

[read: every gamepad puzzle] Every puzzle so far uses gyro so i don't think it's possible to bypass it.

I was thinking stuff like, chunk an item down a hole, rather than using Gyro, or doing a bomb to blast yourself over something etc, ie thinking outside the box. Things like game glitches..
My plan is to borrow a gamepad sometime, and do all the ones i'll leave them to the end, but it will be annoying if a main dungeon, has a gyro in the middle too.

You could try but most of these shrines are made to not even reach it. [ex. Too far even for bomb blast] I could attempt to bypass some but eh, it probably will not work.
