I haven't used TCPGecko in like a month, and I may not have the code handler to use cheat codes on my SD card, but when I load up BotW after loading up TCPGecko and I connect it to my computer with JGecko U, the Wii U crashes and I have to force restart it. Any possible reasons why? I'm using the latest version of JGecko U, I'm not sure about TCPGecko.
EDIT: Just now realizing I posted this in the wrong thread. I would delete it, but I can't
Alright, so I've been testing equipment changing a bit and here's my findings. I would appreciate it if someone followed up on this and tested the rest out.
- Unequip everything and equip the weapon you want to switch
- Do a memory search between 43C00000 - 45000000 for the value 01010000
- Unequip, and search for 00100000
- Should end up with one address which is that slot.
- (Please note there's a value to switch weapon types but I haven't found that yet)
So in short:
00010000 = Unequipped
01010000 = Equipped
And then it's +0x220 to the next slot (if you don't have your equipment sorted)
Red= Item Tab Green = Durability for weapons/Item amount for items/Dye color for outfits Yellow = 0X0Y (X = Equipped, Y = In inventory) Blue = Item ID Grey = Modifier Amount (+1 attack, +2, etc)
- For outfits: Great Fairy upgrade level (3 = No upgrade, 4 = 1 star, 5 = 2 star, 6 = 3 star) Black = Modifier Type (Attack Up, Durability Up, etc)
Here's the item IDs I found so far. Keep in mind I missed a lot, so if anyone wants to do a more thorough check or just dump the IDs from somewhere, that'd be great.

I still haven't figured out what the offset is to change equipment types (from sword to greatsword, etc) so for now just get a weapon of the type you want, and then change it. If someone could find the equipment type value and test more item IDs, that'd be great.
Um bully i cant connect jgecko to the us version of BoTW. It says title id isnt found in the db could use a hand, and i have the game id with me if you need it bully.

Nice. In my debug log I am printing some of this this already but hadn't seen some things you have. The address before the Red value is the "Page/Category" for your inventory
Page 0 is Weapons
Page 1 is Bows
Page 2 is arrows
etc
The items are in reverse order in memory. Your first item is here
0x43CA2AEC
If you go backwards by 0x220 you get to the next one.
My first weapon isn't at 43C8F290. Are you US? PAL here.
Any chance for integrating the equipment modifier into the trainer? I'm not sure how to manually use all of that info. I have zero amiibos and I'd love to get the exclusives.

@PandaOnSmack Something weird happened after using your latest trainer. I can no longer edit my Bows or Shields. Weapon durability changes fine, so do Materials and Food. But no matter how many times I change the durability on a Bow or Shield, save and reload, it reverts back. Not sure why, it worked fine yesterday. I've also tried restarting the console, game and Gecko.
I just realized I completely messed up my outfit formatting. JGecko has really weird way of splitting things... Well, in any case. The offset is at that point. Just mess around and you'll find it.
00010000 = Unequipped
01010000 = Equipped

Any chance you could give a tutorial on how to use this for someone who is new to JGecko? I've been trying the 43C00000 type thing all morning and it doesnt seem to be working out for me
Has anyone else been able to find coordinates for botw? It seems they're not as easily searchable as other games. I never had a problem finding them in MK7, MK8, Splatoon, Pokemon mystery dungeon, Pokemon moon, and a few other games.
Okay I think I got all Amiibo items now. It's super annoying to search for IDs, so I'll keep it at this for now. I most likely got a few things wrong with the explanations, but what's there should work. The item IDs are very likely not the right length (Probably 16 bit) but I've been at this for 6 hours now, so I hope someone will do me a solid and look into this. For now, anyone should be able to change their equipment to what they want.
I'd like to request @PandaOnSmack to add an "is equipped" to his trainer's debug to make things easier. For the record, I can load my inventory just fine with your trainer. My first weapon starts at 0x43CA2AEC too. However, it sometimes moves around when loading saves. However, as evident, all the equipment slots follow the same pattern. So it shouldn't be an issue to add this to a trainer or whatever.

Thanks! Works like a charm. Added the Gerudo set to my earlier post.
So to change items easily:
- Download PandaOnSmack's trainer in the post above
- Equip only the item you want to change
- Open trainer, connect, load values
- Go to debug tab and look for "Equipped: 1010000"
- Copy address, disconnect trainer and load up JGecko
- Connect, go to Memory Viewer and paste address
- Refer to my post on previous page on what offset to edit and what Item ID to use.

Actually, let me lay out my entire process. Just to note, this is the way I've done it since the game released and I've had no issues until today. I have not changed a single thing.
I'm running USA BotW 1.1
Hold A on Haxchi to boot into the HBC
Run Mocha CFW
Open Internet Browser to loadiine.ovh
Run TCPGecko + Kernel 5.5.0-5.5.1
Open Internet Browser again to complete
Run BotW from the home screen
Load my save
Open the trainer
Connect to my IP
That is my process. It has worked since two days ago with zero issues. The only thing that I've changed is the trainer versions. I've been updating as they are released. I don't have any old versions to test however. I just find it strange that both trainers are having inventory issues out of the blue.

@Xdqwerty, wire is definitely more practical IMO. Hell these days you can charge a laptop over USB, can't charge a laptop wirelessly though. Wireless chargers, even "fast" ones, are only good for slowly charging devices, plus they generate a good amount of heat too
Power banks can be incredible depending on your needs. 1) I have a 100w capable one that can charge my laptop. 2) Same one can also power my soldering iron (though is overkill for it) 3) a BIG power bank I have with an AC outlet on it can power my desktop weed vape during a power outage
