My brother accidentally bought a NSTC botw disc for our Pal Wii U. I've tried doing the OurLoader app but it just sends me to the Mii creation. I want to do Regionhax, but I don't know where to start. I'm quite new at this. Please help!

Well first of all you might want to return your brother to the store and replace it with someone who wouldn't make such a mistake.

Did you try to run the game after exiting Mii Maker?

As I said in your other post just put mocha on the sd card start the internet and load the homebrew launcher then select mocha the wiiu wii reset and you are region free. Region hax is outdated and can brick the wiiu

Hi, I have the same situation here. I moved to Canada with my PAL WiiU and just bought Zelda BotW.

I first tested OurUploader with HomeBrew Launcher but it keeps on starting the Mii Maker. After seeing your discussion, I added Mocha to my wiiu/apps. I start mocha, I get a black screen for a second and then back the the HomeBrew launcher. OurLoader still launches the MiiMaker and I still cannot start the game because of the region.

I followed this tutorial wiiu.hacks.guide:get-started, without installing the Homebrew channel. Same result. What can I do?

First, instead of following that guide, choose the best one there is, Kafluke's guide. Check in his signature, just three posts above yours (Wii U Noob Hacking guide). You should install Haxchi, then you can get rid of Mocha altogether. Once you have Haxchi running, you have CFW which is region-free. Note that the manual portion of an out-of-region game will error out. To fix that, you can use Spiik homebrew. >> https://wiiubru.com/appstore/#/app/spiik

So far it's not working... As per the decision chart,
  • I don't want to buy a DS game and I'm ok starting the browser all the time. Not a heavy gamer.
  • I have a DISC AMER version of BotW to run on my PAL WiiU, so I don't neet WUP Installer either.
So I use the BrowserHax to launch Homebrew and I installed Mocha CFW. I start MOCHA, I get the menu, it restarts with the Mocha screen. But still my disc is still not recognized and blocked by the region.

Am I missing something?

I read that it might be an issue with DISC games. So I'll try disc2app and then WUP Installer to run it on the console...

Ripping the disc also failed.. Disc2app is stuck at "Inserted WUP-....". Even tho my Fat32 external usb drive is functional and has plenty of space..

Using disc2app, you should dump to your SD card instead. (make sure you have plenty of room on it for the dump) That will save you one step, copying the files to the SD card. Once the dump is complete, you can install right away to your internal memory with wup installer y mod. Note that I never used disc2app myself, just assuming here. Please ignore my advice if I'm wrong.
