I think that's just how the game is, i only expect small improvements from future patches. Most areas run fine though.

I'm starting to think that Nintendo is preparing a patch to be installed on the Wii U hard drive and that is somehow protected from hacks. They already said it, there will be a mandatory installation on hard drive in order to play the game on Wii U...
(not jinxing it guys :D)

Okay... now I see...
Soooo, it's maybe another stupid question but why there is no valid update ticket yet knowing that the valid game data titlekey is already leaked from an original french disc ?
Is there a special thing to dump in order to obtain the valid tickets for updates for Wii U ?

Sinon, t'aurais un copain qui pourrait nous refiler le ticket de l'update ?? :D

You need Bill Nye and his super secret password of science.

It's sad how the last real game for the Wii U failed so miserably! I wonder if we'll start seeing game reviews already!!

Edit: http://www.gamerevolution.com/featu...th-of-the-wild-early-performance-graphics-etc

"Ahead of release, thousands of gamers have found a way to mod their Wii U to play the latest Zelda ahead of launch. Although we will not be advertising how you can do the same, we know one of the few people who has already played Breath of the Wild on Wii U for more than a couple hours. His name is Jared, and I struck up a quick chat with him this afternoon to talk about his experience with this mysterious Zelda port."

which is really weird if you assume the update+ticket are on the disc as well.
Not weird at all, only way they could prevent a bigger leak after the EU eshop files leaked. They wont release the update on eshop until the game drops or right before.

Is anyone experiencing the screen darkening at random times during gameplay? It's even happening to me on the menu. I don't think this was happening last night but I was half asleep when I installed and booted up the game.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

Nor clothes 🤮 . Saves on time, soap, water and money having to wash them. :D
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
