Hello, I'm still very new to the Wii U Hacking scene - I have a few questions that I'm hoping can be answered.
I have a HD with all of my Wii Backups. My Wii has died and will no longer boot. In order to play Wii games, do I still need a separate 2GB SD card, a separate hard drive, etc? Or is there a way now for me to load Wii games on the same HD that I have dedicated for Wii U games now? I had previously loaded the games on the hard drive with WBFS Manager and ran them with USBLauncher.
Is there a way to not have to switch hardware out? I would love to be able to just simply play the games without having to switch back and forth.
How do I load games that aren't from WiiU helper or FunKii? Those download games from the eStore, but I have a backup in a format that I don't recognize. At the root of the folder is code, content, and meta folders. The content folder is the bulk, which contains a data folder with some .arc files, .bik files, and a .ram file. What technique do I need to investigate for this sort of backup?
Thanks a million!
