13/02 – 11.3 Emunand
Posted on February 13, 2017

Just a quick update about the new Nintendo 11.3 firmware support on Emunand.

As indicated before, we are working really hard to release as soon as possible our new major update that will once again revolutionize the (N)3DS scene. As it is now getting very close, we might have to delay the Emunand latest Nintendo firmware support by a couple of weeks max. We will keep you posted very soon, and be sure that as always, we will offer full support for all Gateway user, even for day one buyers from 4 years ago!

For now, please do not update your Emunand until you can read the confirmationof support for 11.3 here.

Thank you for your patience, more to come very soon!

Edit so it doesn't link to their website.
Seriously... weeks? Why don't they just steal the opensource code of some project instead and implement it? and maybe add firm protection....

Maybe they didn't save the source from their latest stable release so they can't fix the 11.3 update without releasing their unfinished "update revolution" lol

Revolutionize:rofl:
Maybe sysNAND user won't be forced to press L+R+A+Select to boot, that delay makes a9lh with GW a bit useless considering the improved boot speed is wasted.

lol yeah xD Maybe they should learn from TuxSH and Aurora Wright ;)
Since they are hosting their project on github, it's easy to grab the source from any release.
I don't know how Gateway manage that, but it's pretty much "no backup"

I asked them months ago (i have the card) and they said me the same, that they were working on a very big update. But... I dont think they'll release anything right now... They do not even have a non-beta A9 installer.

You don't need to do that if you don't have an emunand

With GW you have to, because they warn you about no FIRM-protection every time.
Only with emuNAND it boots automatically but the extra space when using sysNAND is a greater benefit in my eyes.

Because that'd create an even bigger shitshow than what we've already got... [no Firm 0/1 protection, wonky A9LH, closed source CFW, insistence on using an Emunand (which, as we've seen, breaks easily) etc etc].

Good, adding exclusive features might keep them alive.

They could release a quick fix for11.3 now and their "next big thing" at a later time though.

I'm really hoping that their 'revolution' is sighax. One can dream. :P

...But the reality will probably be this video -- just substitute every 'new3ds support' with '11.3 emunand'.

Do you really trust their "Next big thing" though?

The last time they had a "big thing" to show, it was a botched A9LH install which didn't work for most, and those which did work - had a high risk of bricking their systems (much like OTP-less). Of course, this was fixed months after initial release when the community version of A9LH was pretty much safe and posed a much smaller risk to begin with.

Nah I don't. Just want to be able to convert my saves and walk away.

Question: Is it possible for them to release a homebrew which enables gateway select menu inside Luma?
