Hardware Holes on the Switch?

they are for cooling
It is for cooling. Based on the fact it's using a custom NVIDIA Tegra chip, I know for a fact they get fairly hot for a mobile processor. My Shield Portable also uses a Tegra chip and has a dedicated fan with large cooling vents as well. So putting the fact that both have a similar processor and that my shield portable has a dedicated fan with large vent holes as well, it basically guarantees that those are for cooling.

And switch powerful? Yeaaa....no. At least not according to what theyve shown so far.
It's obviously not going to be as powerful as the current gen consoles, because you have to take into account size. The XBOne and PS4 are both substaintially larger. Along with that they are tethered to both a power supply and a TV, while the switch is battery powered and portable. You simply can't get a current gen console's power in that form factor.

Is it known what are those absolutely massive holes on the top of the tablet for?
These cannot be for cooling alone that would be odd AF....
