After several years, I have finally completed a full 2026 update of my English translation for Yu-Gi-Oh! Saikyou Card Battle.
The original translation that my 2021 release was based on contained numerous slurs, swear words, offensive remarks, and strange dialogue that did not fit the characters or the tone of the game. Although I removed many of those problems in the original release, members of the community later discovered that some were still present.
For this new release, the game’s English text received a much deeper and more complete review. The remaining slurs and offensive language have now been removed, while the most out-of-place and off-the-wall dialogue has been rewritten to better fit the game and its characters.
This definitive release includes:
The final patch was successfully tested against the correct Japanese base and reproduced the intended final CIA exactly. Its CIA content, ExeFS, RomFS, internal hashes, and updated translation credit were also verified.
This is now the definitive and final English translation release for the game. Thank you to everyone who tested the previous version, reported the remaining problems, and helped make this final update possible. I hope everyone enjoys the completed translation!

- Rewritten lines for dialogue that felt random, inappropriate, or out of character
- Clean replacements designed to preserve the game’s text limitations
- The updated DrgnMasterKota translation main menu credit screen
- A standalone xdelta patch that applies directly to the original Japanese CIA
