Hi,

Since it has been a while when I used this forum, new stuff came out and I'm interested to install A9LH with Luma on my 2DS. Which guide should I use? Is this one good enough?

https://gbatemp.net/threads/guide-install-a9lh-without-buying-anything-in-11-2.455588/

Also is there any better option now besides A9lh+Luma cfw?
well i dont claim to be an expert but i dont really think youd find anything better than A9LH with Luma cfw..as for the guide id suggest you read more than one research a bit at the comments....dont get me wrong its NOT hard...but if doing it for the first time....better to be safe than sorry.

I installed luma today on my 2ds using the 3ds.guide -guide.

Just a heads up if you use that one: you have to boot WITHOUT the sd card after doing the 2.10 transfer or you get a black screen. The guide failed to mention that. (Or at least it was like that for me.)
If you don't and you get the black screen, it's easy to fix, just turn the system off and take out your sd card, then boot and boom you're in the system menu

Did you rename Decrypt9WIP.bin to arm9.bin? Also some people said it works better if you have a game cartridge inserted.

But any desktop OS, I've never had anything but frustration trying to get Bluetooth devices to work reliably and stable. It might pair and connect once, and then next time I go to use it I have to delete and re-pair it again

  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Not recently but I think it's less a driver issue and more just Windows having a garbage Bluetooth stack

Could be I was having issues when I first upgraded it and didn't realiser gigabyte has specific driver revisions which is stupid
